You are right Suiya, I do not think one is better than another. That being said, I do restrict my trading to a certain number of pairs. I just feel I have gotten to know some better than others over the years. And some that have always kicked my ass over the years. But that's just me. If someone asked for advice, I would probably say, they are all the same, a chart is a chart.

Take a good hour, relax, & watch The Documentary Trader: An Insight into the Life & Investment Strategy of Paul Tudor Jones. It will be one of the most enlightenting & educating things you can learn from. Words cannot even describe how much it will help improve your investing repertoire. If you call yourself a trader or investor & don’t know who Paul Tudor Jones is then you have a serious problem. For the rest of you, here is a brief little bio to give some background on who he is. Paul Tudor Jones ll is the founder of "Tudor Investment Corporation". a multi-billion dollar hedge fund. He is worth an estimated $6.3 billion in 2009 and was ranked by Forbes in March 2007 as the 369th richest person in the world. In 1976 he started working on the trading floorsas a clerk and then became a broker for E.F. Hutton. In 1980 he went strictly on his own for two and a half profitable years, before he “really got bored.” He then applied to the Harvard Business School, he was accepted, and packed to go when the idea occurred to him that: “this is crazy, because for what I’m doing here, they’re not going to teach me anything. To be a trader, this skill set is not something that they teach in business school.” He consulted his cousin, William Dunavant Jr., for advice. Dunavant, whose Dunavant Enterprises is one of the world’s largest cotton merchants, sent Jones down to New Orleans to talk with commodity broker Eli Tullis, who hired and then mentored him in trading cotton futures at the New York Cotton Exchange. During his time working for Eli, Jones was quoted saying: “He was the toughest son of a bitch I ever knew. He taught me that trading is very competitive and you have to be able to handle getting your butt kicked. No matter how you cut it, there are enormous emotional ups and downs involved.”

What effect if any will the problems in Turkey have on the Euro ? I realize that Turkey does not use the Euro, but they are an important N.A.T.O. ally.

Or, you can take a look at these folks. They are "Introducing Brokers" and deal with 30+ brokers. They make money from the broker, not from you. I have known them personally for about 5 years. Contact and they can make some recommendations based on amount of capital, risk appetite etc. Cash Back Forex Rebates | Highest Rates | Best Forex Brokers BTW: on the site one of the owners, Ralph Shell, has an excellent blog based on fundamentals. We are trying to get it syndicated here.

Nothing to do with broker payment but, Some years ago when a partner and myself had a signal service My partner set up a Pay Pal acct in OZ ( he lived there ) to handle our transactions One day about 6 to 8 months in I opened my personal PP acct and was unpleasantly surprised to find that PP had frozen my acct while the Australian Govt investigated our biz acct for money laundering.. We are not talking about huge sums here. Pay Pal is not a Bank. You do not have the same avenues of recourse that you would have with a bank.I will never do business with them again. ( I did eventually get my money. It was a Royal pain in the ass ).

I have never had much success working with this pattern. Not to say it does not have it's place. I know a young lady and it's all she uses. Good Luck.

Spoke to a friend who lives in OZ and works for RIO TINTO. Says production is WAY down. Would take a month just to get re tooled.

I sometimes have those myself. I call them "King Midas" days.

If I had decided to stop trading for the day, and assuming I had no other long term positions open, I would not have bothered even to look later in the day. Another thing I have learned over the years ( the hard way of course ) is to do very little trading this time of year, May thru July.Historically, my worst months Have been May - July. I don't know why. Maybe because the weather gets nice here and my mind is on my boat or my motorcycle. I just don't feel like working.

6/6/2013 The ECB will be the center of attention on Thursday, as the central bank releases the benchmark interest rate. No change is expected to the current level of 0.50%. Where things could get interesting is the press conference hosted by ECB head Mario Draghi. If Draghi hints at negative interest rates, we could see the euro lose ground. The ECB’s deposit rate currently stands at zero, and if the ECB decides to go lower, it would be the first central bank to introduce negative interest rates. Negative rates would be bad for the euro, as investors would likely look outside the Eurozone to get more attractive rates for their funds, rather than paying the ECB to hold their deposits.

"Lying is a form of deception, but not all forms of deception are lies." So how about a game of three card Monty? ( used to see it going on all over lower Manhattan) They are not lying to you when they take your money ??

Why Do People Engage in Self Destructive Behaviors?
Mysticforex replied to GlassOnion's topic in Forex
This is just one answer that jumped out at me. "because nobody advised me to get counseling before I engaged in my self destructive behaviour - " My shorts ( underpants ) have been a little twisted of late because I feel the GOVNT in my country feels it has to protect me from myself. -
