MY FIRST CONDOM I recall my first time with a condom.. I was just 17, and I went in to buy a packet of condoms at Erlichs Drugstore. In those days it took a lot of guts to go in a store and ask for that kind of item because everyone in town knew me and there was no doubt the young lady (I think her name was Delores) knew what they were for. She was working as an assistant behind the counter, and she could see that I was really embarrassed by the whole procedure. She handed me the package and asked if I knew how to wear one. I honestly answered, "No, not really." So she unwrapped the package, took one out and slipped it over her thumb. She cautioned me to make sure it was on tight and secure. Apparently I still looked confused. So, she looked all around the store to see if it was empty. It was. "Just a minute." she said, and walked to the door and locked it. Taking my hand, she led me into the back room, unbuttoned her blouse and removed it. She unhooked her bra and laid it aside. "Do these excite you?" she asked. Well, I was so dumb-struck that all I could do was stand there with my mouth open and nod my head. She then said it was time to slip the condom on. As I was slipping it on, she dropped her skirt, removed her panties and lay down on a desk. "Well, come on." she said. "We don’t have much time.." So I climbed onto her. It was so wonderful that, unfortunately, I could no longer hold back and KAPOW, I was done within a few moments. She looked at me with a bit of a frown. "Did you put that condom on?" she asked. I said, "Sure did, and held up my thumb to show her." That's when she beat the living shit out of me. Women have always been hard for me to figure out.

I should point out that thist is not about winning or losing. It does not matter who flipped a Tails on a day the pair goes down. It is just about a group of traders who got together to amuse themselves.

Let's try some random trading. For 10 trading days, starting Monday 7/22 thru Friday 8/2 we will open 1 trade on my Oanda demo account. It will be 1 trade a day opened at the NY Open ( 09:30 am EST ) The size will be 1 dollar a pip. The trade will have a 20 pip TP and a 20 pip S/L If for some reason the trade has not closed by 5 pm of the same day it will be closed ( no holding trades over night ). The pair will be EUR/USD. The method we will use to determine the direction of the trade will be a coin toss. Heads is buy, tails is sell. I will flip and call the first trade on Mon 7/22. I need 9 more members to register here in the thread to flip and call the remaining trades ( one each ).. First come first served. Please try to have the trade call in 12 hours before market open. After the experiment we will decide if it was bullshit and have a good laugh, or maybe realize that with a little fine tuning ,,,, well who knows.

How Long Does It Take to Make $5000/Mo Consistent Profit?
Mysticforex replied to cowcool's topic in Beginners Forum
Siuya has a good point. After all, the less time spent in actual trades, the less time spent exposed to risk. Bluehorseshoe is right. If you want to be a "Professional Trader", apply for a job at a bank. Most of us ( I think) are what is known as "Retail Traders". In any event, Good Luck ! -
The fundamentals do not seem to favor the euro, but at the moment the market acts firm. We are bearish the euro but the market actions suggest it is best to wait and sell later.

This is not a criticism, just personal preferences . For me watching EUR/GBP is like watching paint dry. I like GBP/JPY. You will know quickly, and in no uncertain terms whether or not the trade is going with you. I should mention I have always struggled with patience .

At 62% YTD it does not sound like you need the help of anyone here. I hope you don't expect us to ask for the name of the Twitter act you follow, I would delete it.

Well the contest is over, the results are. in. Congratulation to Nicoacademia for a fine job. I was thinking of taking a break from the contest for the month of July, resuming in August. I will be posting the link to join a about 2 weeks ahead of time. This should give anyone interested plenty of time to get set up. I am also thinking of going back to the 1 month format. Let me know if there are any objections to that.

Come Monday July the 1st, Mark Carney will begin his new job as the world's highest paid central banker. It is reported Carney will make £874,000 ($1.340,000), quite a raise from the C$429,600 at his last gig in Canada. This is also more than his predecessors salary of £305,368, but Mervyn King also receives a pension of £250K per year. Prior to the salary for Carney, the highest paid central banker was the Reserve Bank of Australia's Glen Stevens. He was being paid A$ 1,050,000 per year but considering the recent dive in the A$, he has taken a pay cut. Contrast this to the Fed's Bernanke who is toiling for only $199,700, nearly the minimum wage for a central banker. Really, is it fair since, Bernanke has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Only last week he suggested conditions in the US were improving, and this might result in fewer bond purchases later in the year. This caused panic in the debt markets, and sent global equity markets lower.
