1. :crap: OUCH!! Thanks for the painful reminder, Tams. I got bit using the wide S-L in my early quest and it was a very cold bucket of water lesson learned.
2. Hmmm. Unless there's a VALID reason that I'm missing, it sounds like you "MAY" have a Gambling Addiction problem, are POSSIBLY an ADRENALINE JUNKIE, or some combination of both. Please note that I typed MAY and POSSIBLY. I cannot tell you that you are or are NOT something. I am merely waving a few RED FLAGS for you to consider. I have personally been there, caused myself and some loved ones irrepairable financia damage, and in effect screwed a chunk of my life up pretty well trading. It's taken many years of "Shrink-Time" to understand why I was doing this and finally able to get back into the markets and be accountable, profitable, and in control of my emotions. Be well, trade wisely and profitably. Tomaz M
3. Good stuff from the KIRK report. A good STARTING POINT if you're starting out; then can slim it down to a more manageable size like some of the others have pointed out. Appreciate the effort...Tomaz:
4. Charlie, I will be keeping an eye to your posts here regarding this set-up as it looks good so far. Just might "borrow" it or parts of it; if you don't mind. Thanx for sharing this info with us. Tomaz M.
5. I too have been following BOTH pairs and agree it IS the GBP. Thanx Brookwood, for the confirmation of my modest observation. BTW: if you don't mind, would you share why you stopped trading GBP/USD?? Thanx again...Tomaz M.
6. Appreciate the effort and data. Any further plans for this site?? Kudos and good trading. Tomaz M.
7. :helloooo: M2 S: if you don't mind, what would you say are the most difficult features with IB & NINJA for a beginner to get comfortable or proficient with at first. Thanx...Tomazo M.
8. Stogie, what did you mean by the above?? Would you mind sharing this "easier way" with us? Would greatly appreciate any input to make something easier.:bang head: Thanx...Tomazo M (Pathfinder62)
9. I, also, as novicetrader said, would appreciate a tad more. Thanx...Tomazo M.
10. Lakota, would you be so kind as to point me to your first post(s) regarding this technique? I've done some Gann stuff BUT I'm not familiar with the technique you are describing. Getting me to a post or page to understand this better would be appreciated. "Gramps" is kinda out in left field this 1st day of 2011. Tomazo M.
11. Thanx for the effort you put into this. As I am kinda new to this, would you be so kind as to provide a bit more info on your prog: is it a stand-alone program? if a plug-in, what prog is required? any kind of help/install instructions? what oper. syst. will it work with? Thanx again. Tomaz M.
12. Thanx for the effort you put into this. As I am kinda new to this, would you be so kind as to provide a bit more info on your prog: is it a stand-alone program? if a plug-in, what prog is required? any kind of help/install instructions? Thanx again. Tomaz M.
13. Thanx again for the prompt follow up and info, MMS. Pathfinder62
14. MAD SCIENTIST: "Also I find windows xp the best to trade on. Not vista or win 7." Your comment regarding WIN XP being best to trade on surprised me. I would have thought Win 7 would provide faster thru put, etc. I have XP now but just bought a new system with Win 7 on it. What did you find specifically better in XP vs. Win 7? Thanx ahead of time. Tom M. aka pathfinder 62
15. Thanx Daed & M Knight. This is a great post you started and I hope to catch up in the next day or two and hopefully add something beneficial for consideration. In the meantime, thanx again for sharing. Tom M.
16. ----------------------------------- Rangerdoc: that post from Jan of this year is absolutely one of the best responses to trading advice I have seen in almost 15 years on the internet. I just hope the youngsters that view it take and APPLY even one grain of your sage advice: it will save them countless thousands of dollars, hours and grief over the years. Great stuff/ H. T.
17. QUOTE-Here is a comparison of JurikMA (cyan) and QuickMA (yellow)... Great work & thanks for sharing/educating us. Tom M.
18. Thank you for the fast response. This board and all of you are very helpful. Hopefully, in the next few weeks I will be able to add some insight/information for the group. Thanks again, Forsearch............
19. Re:FX Survey Bank of England Foresearch, thank you a ton and 3/4. Do the other "Majors", i.e. Japan, US, Aussies, put out similar information?? If so, any idea where to find it? Thanks again for the info....pathfinder62 (Tom)
