hmm...What if there is holidays during the week. There are 2-3 off day in last week of Dec. Vols will be less in this case. Will this not skew the chart?

Hi All, I am new to Technical Analysis. Regarding the charts, I have one query. For calculating volume for weekly\monthly charts , we need to add the volume of all trading days of week\month or should we need to take the average of the week\month. Thanks in advance. regards,
