  1. Silver is looking very good. I think another short on gold will setup tomorrow. I will post the trade. Bruno, I have only been here for a few months, it seems fine. What was so great about it a year ago? More regular posters?
  2. Am, How did you do today? The market started off with the head fake long, then short and then long..Short was the word for the day. I got 2 wins on my NQ. Also, what do you think about the rebalancing the TF this week. Berskhire is moving in...what will that do?
  3. Yesterday with CL rollover was another odd day. I think tomorrow will be top notch trading, so I will record my trading live. Then post the video. I did check on one CL (Oil) trading room and there was no talk, just writing. You had to know what his terms meant. I prefer talking trade rooms. Anyway, here's to tomorrow!
  4. Youri, Check out these guys on YouTube. They are over in AU and I think they trade the SPI as well as many other markets. I know they have a free trial on thier room and are good. YouTube - Who is GMT?!
  5. JLJ, There are so many you can buy, the best bet is to see if you can find some good feedback on this site and others. A swing trade system should be easy but effective. Try to have a 2 to 1 win ratio. I saw a you tube video that I posted on another thread. Just go on You Tube and search swing trading forex. Don't buy anthing right away, do some research and get some feedback. Make sure you have a solid money back guarantee or trial. I know there are some swing trade rooms out there.
  6. I did just notice the floating add on the right hand side. Don't like it. I will have to load up firefox.
  7. I would love to have a strategy for TS, so that I can manage my forex stops. TS, does not allow you to trail, so I heard that there are some strategies out there that can do that. I go for 2 or 3 targets and would like to move my stop to breakeven on my second position, once I sell at target 1. Anyone have anything like this out there? Thanks
  8. Yes, I agree Tiobingo. I quit early with about half my normal profit target, and of course then the market got in gear. That's ok, I got on with my life and did not have to stess through giving back some of my hard earned profits, if the market had decided not to cooperate. You are right, you never know what the market will bring!
  9. I have a good NQ scalp strategy. I use a range bar of 1 and go for about 3 points on the NQ. It trades well. Both Thursday and Friday I got 6 points and was done. Not too bad considering that Friday started out slow. I will have to look at the CVB Charts and see if I can use it as a filter or maybe some way to trail.
  10. Dino, This was my Daytrading Gold today One win one B/E and a final win. I know the chart is small, but I wanted you to see all three. I am doing the spreadsheet on the Gold 500 tick this weekend. Lots of trades. Have a great weekend.
  11. The right education is a tough call. What is right? There are a lot of good webinars and free education content out there. Most of those sites are all trying to sell you something, so just don't bit into that. Thre are a million thigs for sale and you don't want to waste your money on junk. So avoid any robots or auto trade systems. Use this website and the other traders here to learn. Attend some free teacing seminars or free trials. Check the feedback on those companies before you do any sort of free trial. I have attened many good educational webinars that reinforce what all traders need to hear. The last thing I will say is, focus on one market that you like or want to trade, then do the research and training on that. That way you are not looking all over the place at all different kinds of markets.
  12. Team, I know of a good one and they just had a webinar yesterday on price action. Here is one of their videos on you tube. They have forex rooms for all sessions. Might be interesting with your filtration system. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFn823P09uI&feature=youtube_gdata]YouTube - PriceactionPart1[/ame]
  13. The markets are very quiet. I had one long Cl winner, but 2 wins and one loss on NG. I think it will be a good day to quit early. I would like to go long on Gold, but it is a tough trade to take. What are your thoughts?
  14. Why did you start this thread, so you can talk to yourself? No one has said anything except ask you a reasonable question. Then someone says they want to see how this turns out and the above was your response. I don't know anything about you at Baby Pips, but there is not such thing as an indicator that can never lose. So, you are just selling pie in the sky and any new traders should beware!
  15. Thanks for this thread! I trade CL every day. Yesterday was tight and I had two very small winners. Then it finally broke above 76 with some action. This was my final trade. My trade plan is two wins and positive, then I am done. Today, on inventory day I wait till after the news then trade. I might take one before 9am if we get some good price action off the 8:30 news. Will let you know later. http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a0d837b3127ccefa355d1cfc6900000030O08EbtmjVq3Zg9vPhY/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/ Sorry about the picture. I will read up on how to post one better.
  16. I personally, use Tradestation. I have used it to backtest strategies and it is crap for that. It is not accurate. Fills, spreads, all pie in the sky. What you can use it for well is to manually backtest and then forward test. I am sure there are many other programs that work well. I think the key is historical data for your backtest. If you want to go back years then you need to find something that will run an auto strategy, but I don't think TS is the answer there. For me I like to test 6 months back and the forward test live for a month. If it is working I will know by then. I can factor in news and other events, just as I would in the market.
  17. Thanks, I am using NRE3FEA6JP47 Only one left. I can't wait till next week when I can upgrade to the Iphone 4.
  18. I have found that Ninja Trader is good for backtesting and you can get a free demo for many months. Just google free ninja trader demo. There are many good brokers that will give you live data for free. I don't want to mention any of their names. I think they have good historical data. In addition, if you find a good broker, the often will give you a ninja license so you don't have to buy one, if you trade with them. I hope this helps. I love trding the Eminis and like the NQ over the YM. It moves more and faster and they are both worth $5 a tick.
  19. Blow, You hit one of the nails on the head! I have seen this and done this soooo many times. Trading is probably one of the hardest jobs or things to do! It is so unnatural. To stick to a plan, to take heat well, to over ride your emotions when you are in a trade or to ignore your gut feeling that the market will come back as you move your stop further and further, or add another position. Now, back to not losing money and at the break even stage. You have crossed the first stage. Now, stick to your plan and if your system, that you backtested and know you have the edge, will start to bring in the money. Again, stick to the plan. Journal, every day and make sure you are not making mistakes or breaking the rules. If you do. Penalize yourself, by not trading the next day. Focus on your trade plan and your emotions. Then you will come out ahead more often than not.
  20. Maker, Not sure what your problem is. Maybe you misread my post. I wanted to hear about some good trade roms. I enjoyed reading about Jinkie and Channel, looking for Honest feedback not sales hype. Again, I trade CL and some other markets and I will test out the Cl room and let everyone know. If you want sales pitches in your thread I have some crap robots I can sell you cheap:)
  21. Jumper, I can do an after market recap, but if I say short at 82, and I am using my indicators you don't know why I would be going short. Unless, I was using Fibs or swings highs and lows. I love vieos as well. I have seen some you tube videos on site, so I guess wel can. I will make one up this week. What do you use for your trading decisions?
  22. I had a short on GBPJPY on Thursday, the sudden move up took me out at my stop. Got another long tonight that shoud work out. I don't have any trade on the GBPUSD, but I will post is as soon as I do. This is a great thread. I am glad I found it.
  23. So, Siuya, You don't use anyting other than price action and swings high and low? I love range bars on CL I use range of 6, but I have some other indicators. I will try and post a better picture from my trading tomorrow. Let's see if we can have our own race here.
  24. Looks like this was more the link I needed. I was asking if anyone know of any good trade rooms. I don't want a sales pitch, just what kind of results are people getting. I am going to test out the a sponsored link on CL trading this week. It is a free trial and I trade CL every day so, I can see how it compares with my system. I don't want anything that will distract me from my trading, but I am always looking for new ideas and even new markets I have not thought about to diversify. Thanks for the input.
  25. I like to stop in and visit some live trade rooms. I don't want them to bother my regular trading, but we are all looking for other good traders to learn from and improve. Even if it is a market that we had not thought about trading and find we like. So, to that end, are there any room or other traders you like to watch? I just signed up for a free trial on a CL room on one of the links on this site..anyone have any feedback on them? I will let you know next week.
