Hi guys, Seems like these threads get a lot of heat. We definitely want useful posts and threads for traders at this point. Selling software is not really the focus of our forums, but evaluating them is, so traders can make their own decisions. Carry on the conversations without shutting anyone down, and maybe in our upcoming forum re-org we will try to put discussions related to vendor sales in a specific area. The questions about the software are definitely valid, since trust is important.

I awoke from the dead. I hope to be a bit more involved now! Yes, you are right in that we don't want nonsense on this website. If there is someone posting junk hoping to troll for customers do let them know they are wrong, as you were doing. That last chart showing a lack of correlation was actually rather helpful! Feel free to PM me if there are issues on the site or someone trolling. I have had to msg a few people in the last 2 days alone with warnings now that I am more involved.

This is a forex trading platform. New, well new to retail traders. Charting really good, you have your choice of candles, range bars and so forth. Execution is instant and when in execution mode, it really is at the touch of a button. If you use any other broker there are costs involved, but through http://www.fxfts.com (who are IB's for PFGBEST) the platform is free with advanced studies. Its similar to trade station and soon will have the auto strategy features that tradestation has too. Down side is that you have to trade with a fairly big account. So no mini lots or microlots yet. So I would say minimum to start with tradevec would be about 10000$ But overall a good experience

Chicago-based futures broker. Great front end trading platform, no data fees and free charts (w/ 10 trades or more in a 30-day period). Multiple clearing firm options. The brokers are very helpful and pickup when I call or respond to my emails quickly. I've used a variety of other platforms and while CQG and TT remain the industry's leaders. Infinity ranks right next to them in terms of trading ladder and data feed. Been very happy over the years.
