Funny how James always had a handle on these things.... Guess you never notice the good times until they are gone...
-
They'll get around to fixing it... if enough people complain. It's as though the new crew doesn't even visit its own forums now and then to make sure everything is copacetic.
-
I know who the first handle is.... but pray tell, who is the second? Post (or PM if you like..)
-
No apologies needed. The new team at TL couldn't care less about enforcing the TOS against affiliate links anyway, so have at it. Since they're on your own blog, and not directly in TL, I doubt they'd have any issues with it at all.

Once a vendor, always a vendor... no matter the size of the tuition

Dude. You must be joking right? Read all the examples in this thread first. And ask yourself ... "does the S&P trade in pips?"

If it's against the site's current TOS, yes. One user may have been granted an exemption by TL's previous owner in the past, apparently. Supposedly. I don't think there was ever an audit or proof given to James (the old TL owner) that the funds ever reached their intended destination (with or without a "handling" fee). At least one "guru" can show proof of his legitimate "donations" (and no, I'm not talking about that Woodie fellow neither). Something like the one in this post: http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/f30/book-recommendation-4597.html#post50111 When you click on it and/or buy something, the person who set up the link gets paid by the merchant as a reward for bringing them a customer.
-
Is there a reason you like to post your affiliate links to Amazon.com on TL?
-
Nice work.... Probably ought to use Green or Blue for the UP colours. Might want to also try to sell (or license) it to a vendor like TTM before they steal it from you, since they like to borrow "public domain" stuff like this
-
Yeah, I think you can even still post referral links to places like Amazon.com for lists of trading books, and the like...
-
I guess the first question would be: Do you even know what exactly the MACD is measuring in the first place?
-
Exactly. You never know when a six-sigma event may happen. In the markets. Or in nature, like this: Happy trading!

Spammers Getting Through is Getting Old Quickly

Just google it instead. Add "site:traderslaboratory.com" with your search term and you should be able to find whatever you are looking for. -
LOL. You mean former "full-time for a day" mod? Anyway, there are range bars and momentum bars. And they are not the same, despite what that so-called mod may think.... Back to the topic at hand....
-
How about fixing the spam problem that is ruining TL for everyone instead. Think you can man up and take care of it for us?

Spammers Getting Through is Getting Old Quickly
macdfx replied to brownsfan019's topic in Announcements and Support
The current Admin and staff couldn't care less apparently. When it was James' baby he was on top of it. Right now, the new crew is running the site as a money-making operation without regard for the integrity of the site and its posters. They probably should keep James on as a consultant to advise them how to mitigate the onslaught of spam that has been plaguing them of late. -

I concur. At least the old crew (James) had a handle on things. Right now, it's a free for all for the spammers. Shame. -

I thought I was watching the same video twice, but wasn't sure. Had that "deja vu" feeling. Glad I wasn't alone on this...
