Hi everyone, In this thread I would like to ask more experienced traders to point out to my mistakes, I've started trading futures recently and your help will be truly appreciated. These are my "bad" trades for today; the reasoning is that both times pivots were broken on a low volume so I tried to fade it. Was there anything that would indicate to you that this was a beginning of a downtrend?

Thank you Soultrader for your answer, I have seen all of your tape videos, thanks again, very helpful!!! The thing is, I see large buying at the tops today and large selling at the bottoms it's in the attachments, THAT doesn’t make much sense to me, since today is all choppy and range bound, but again I am new to tape reading and that’s why I’d like to know your opinion on today’s action.

Hi everyone, I need some help regarding next week's and Monday’s pivots for YM. On mini-sized Dow ($5) Futures June 2007 they used Fridays (pit trading?) high, low and close for calculating Monday’s and more importantly weekly pivots, while others such as (Pivot Points for DJIA mini-sized {Jun 07} YMM07) only take Thursday as the last day of the trading week. Pivots are completely different, the same with MP levels. Could you suggest which calculations should be used, and what are correct VAH, VAL and POC? Regards.
