hehe - no, not a penny. someday i hope... (praying actually)
-
here's an interesting sequence of chart patterns. the 3rd pattern is in progress * i should add - it seems every pattern 'in progress' i have posted - fails
-
watched this while at home for lunch - no trade, but it was perfect i think.
-
i did see that waveslider oddly enough, i had a 'canned' ww indicator setup on a chart with a much higher timeframe. it picked it up perfectly. the one i posted was on a little faster chart (relatively). and it looked picture perfect. then the CPI number came out...:o
-
nice looking ww this morning
-
i thought this was an interesting sequence from today. lots of setups i noticed today.
-
hehe, nosir.. i just pick a speed that is slow, medium, or fast basically. a chart that reflects the rhythm i'm looking for. i never bought in to the 'special' number theory. but what do i know? not much really..
-
w/ ts2000i 137v = 13,700 volume bars. sorry for the confusion Tasuki.
-
here's a pretty acceptable WW (at least to me) in progress as i type. sorry i haven't posted any lately, job schedule changed
-
nosir, i watched it abit tho - you could have captured a point or 2 maybe, but the pattern reversed pretty quickly. it would be rare for me to put a trade on in AH. honestly, it's rare i put any trades on. work most every day, plus - being a N00b, gawd.. but i'm working on it
-
here's a small timeframe ww in progress. AH tho - hate messin with 'em in AH. it is with the trend, which brings up another question. are WW's with or against the overall trend significant?
-
welp, here we are. this should be interesting. i say we bounce here. high risk - no doubt. if this level fails - how far do we fall? 64$ question i know.
-
dang that looks like a nice place to get long. how would you play it, on such a big timeframe? i think i would zoom to a fast chart - pick a nice spot hopefully. i guess thats the generic play tho...

Bid-Ask Pressure Indicator for Tradestation
bubba replied to Soultrader's topic in Trading Indicators
has anyone succeeded in plotting this indicator w/ ts2000i? it appears it's way beyond my level.. oh, and the same w/ the bid/ask tape indicator. i'll keep trying. is it missing a function perhaps, that's in the later versions of TS? 2000i doesn't recognize 'insideBid' or 'insideAsk', so i've been trying to replace them. also the 'intrabarpersist' is not known in 2000i.. :edit: could be it's just not doable in 2000i -
gawd, there's another 1/2 position here - addon below the yellow lol kidding of course - could work tho
-
here's an update of the Es daily patterns i had posted recently. the bearish wedge has been breached/ invalidated. the bullish scenario is still intact however - and not far from point 5. also, it has a familiar 'Gartley' look, that could be forming as well. (the failed bearish WW formation is what i had thought OAC was referring to in a previous post. after re-reading his comment, it's obviously something entirely different.)
-
i had been tracking similar - but slightly different patterns forming.
-
ok - this will display my 'noobness', sorry.. a wolfewave is also a bull/bear flag - correct? so, I'm wondering if OAC is referring to a WW that has pivoted from point 4, and before hitting point 5, turns - and breaches the 2-4 trendline. hence, breaking out of the 'flag'. wouldn't this be a breakout of the bull/bear flag and a tradable pattern?
-
ok - here it is, i saw this on several timeframes
-
sure thing ws - it'll be just a bit tho, i'm @ work.
-
wow, did you notice the ES closed with a bearish wolfe? right at the entry point - again!
-
it's the IB specific version. i believe you can download the demo version from http://www.traderssoft.com/ts/msrt/demo/ and it's usable without a time limit. can only connect 2 symbols however. yeah, i hooked that indicator up..but it would appear you've managed to get better performance than me. i should fiddle with it some more.
-
whoa - you certainly have more bars on yours, lol. and is that a wolfe wave indicator? looks like it's working well. i use MetaserverRT to collect/ import data to ts2000i - works good. it's real time and has been solid, even on FOMC days.
-
hmm.. probably something goofy w/ my charts. i have 24h charts & IB data so no telling.
-
potential setup here - right at the close
