  1. I guess reading, "Studies in Tape Reading" is a poor substitute, have you tried emailing the institute? wyckoffstockmarketinstitute.com
  2. The Wyckoff Course in Stock Market Science cd There's someone at the above link who seems to be selling all the original Wyckoff courses for $1000, but I don't really want to pay a grand if the material is freely available elsewhere.
  3. In answer to my own question, I take it that the attached is the said same course... I'm actually slightly confused as on the first page it states the title as, "Stock Market Science and Technique". I would appreciate it if someone could outline the distinction between the two courses, if indeed there are two courses. Incidentally, I also have a paperback copy of Studies In Tape Reading... Also, I'm a Spot FX trader, so believe that I only actually require the, ‘Introduction to the Wyckoff Method of Stock Market Analysis’ section, could anyone clarify please? (I've attached an excerpt, but am unsure where to obtain the entire document). Wyckoff - Method of Tape Reading-1.pdf
  4. Originally, through studying Linda Raschke's work. I bought a few books, which wound up on the bookshelf with my many other unread trading titles. I then re-discovered him through researching VSA, which naturally led me here to this forum. I'm currently on the first read through of his original 1930s course on Market Science & Technique.
  5. I wouldn't suppose perchance that someone would have gone to the trouble of running it through a scanner....
  6. About a quarter of the way through, going slowly as taking notes, getting some real light bulb moments...
  7. I just wanted to say that ForexFlash is a top man, yet to test, but he's supplied an unrestricted version of his code FOC.... :thumbs up:
  8. I guess they need to justify the price tag somehow... WOW! you read my mind, I just this minute put a query out on another forum as to whether I should read Undeclared Secrets, or Master The Markets, US is shorter (I'm guessing it requires more than one read thru') and I want to avoid any annoying and blatant product placements.... So you think US is sufficient for gaining a grounding then? There's no additional benefit to reading MTM?
  9. Scrub that last comment, have found a free set of VSA specific EAs. Would have tried ForexFlash's but couldn't find an up-to-date trial version.

  11. Just a thought re. Trade-guider, I'm no programming whiz but would it really be that difficult to write an indicator code that identifies strength and weakness based on previous bar range, HLC data and volume compared to previous bar?
  12. Thanks for such a comprehensive answer BF, some good points. I will check out those threads you mentioned...
  13. Couple of quick questions (apologies if they have already been covered as I have only really scanned through the thread). 1. In the application of VSA to Spot FX, in the absence of trade volume is it permissible to use tick volume on larger time-frames (I'm currently running an MT4 platform)? I read somewhere that it is, but wanted to get your opinions as you sound as though you have some pretty extensive expertise in the field. 2. Is it permissible to use FX Futures price action and volume to trade Spot? I've used Futures charts in the past to trade spot and found that the price movements on the futures charts were pretty much identical to the quotes for Spot prices I was getting through my broker's platform. Thanks & regards.... Jon
