Good grief... I hope some of you guys caught this move!! I can't trade where I am unless I downloaded FXCM onto a computer at my girlfriend's house (or brought my laptop, I guess)...I'm watching charts with an old Oanda demo accout while the others watch American Idol. :o I should probably trade Tokyo...I'm missing out!

Well, stopped out of that one. I am SOOO frustrated with myself so far this week. I am currently slightly DOWN for the week. I'm not sure what my problem is. Maybe it's just simply the fact that it's only two days and isn't significant. I'm pretty close to BE for the week, anyway. I honestly don't feel like my lack of success this week has anything to do with trading real money vs. demo money. I'm not sure what it is. But yesterday, during the time I watch, even in hindsight I don't really have any "regrets." There just weren't any really good moves during that time. I guess I could have done a little better today, though. :crap::crap: Oh well, I guess I'll just move on to tomorrow...I just hate this knot in my chest that I'm going to have for the rest of the day. I don't really feel like there's anything I need to do as a result of these couple of days to improve myself, other than come back tomorrow ready to go. If there was something, I'd do it...it'd make me feel better at least...it'd make me feel like I was being productive with my trading. I don't know how in the world I could do as well as Thales's daughter when she started. That was amazing. I mean, I didn't expect to, but I couldn't help but hope to!! -Cory

Unfortunately, not me. It was getting late and I was more focused on getting out at BE than what price may have been indicating. No!! I have to leave, so I'm going to just take the whole position out at my new, slightly more conservative PT1 or at my current SL.

Price has come within 0.1 tick of stopping me out of the same trade, but hasn't yet! (my stop is on the same place on the chart as yours, but must be very slightly higher---my stop is at 91.158...the ask has gotten up to 91.157) That'd be so funny if somehow this turned around got to profit after that. Somehow I doubt it, though!

I was in this, but just pulled out for BE when it gave me the chance... ...not that the trade isn't legitimate, it's just that it's getting late... I'm still in the UJ for now...waiting for this trade to make or break my day...

I'm getting impatient...I've moved my stop pretty tight...either it's going to drop or I'm out for a medium-sized loss...

Maybe a potential short. Price sure has stopped/slowed down, though.

Meh...forget it...pulled out around BE.

Stopped & reversed...(sorry a little late...had to act fast with the platform and didn't have an opportunity to post right away)...

I personally haven't gotten to the point where I add to current positions. I'm still holding on to the GU with a BE stop on the second half...I don't have very high hopes at this point, though...we've had something of a "123" against our long position...could probably make an argument for a potential short...

Thales beat me to it, but I was about to say something similar...just that I saw both and chose the GU. This sort of thing came up just last week:

PT1 filled for +25 ticks...holding on for +75 ticks @ PT2.

I've moved my stop to BE. This is a hard one to sit through...lots of back and forth. NOTE: I believe this is the same trade Thales is in (his add to his first position, anyway), except with a less ambitious first PT...the second PT is about the same. I admit that my first PT is less than desirable R/R...I was just worried about the resistance, which has indeed come into play...price has come within a tick or two of my PT1 and keeps backing off... Short never triggered...up it goes.

Well, I just glanced at the charts...that GU trade, if I held it long enough, would have probably hit PT1...definitely not PT2. I think with most of my trades today, I had the right idea (I usually got some movement in my direction)...just couldn't get any steam behind any moves...in either direction...could very well be because of the holiday, I don't know. It might be a good idea for me to merely observe on holidays, FOMC days, & NFP days for now.

One last look at the GU before I head out... Since I'm not in it, I GUARANTEE this will be a full blown winner! -Cory

Well, I guess I'm done for the day. Finished the day slightly down, but not too bad...insignificant, really (that's what I'm telling myself). I'll just blaim it on the fact that today's a holiday. haha -Cory
