  1. E/U may get into chop mode ADD: Short canceled, +2 . Posted results are only paper ticks!
  2. EUR/USD Long Setup Out with -18, then Short Maybe I'm always a bit late with my entries. Practice takes time.
  3. E/U took "the other possibility", I mentioned yesterday.
  4. As a rule of thumb: " b 2 4 x " don't trade any of them. The x is a synonym for the end of the alfabet, in Prechter's terms.
  5. I'am out with +22, have to quit now.
  6. No, I don't understand anything of that "count" and have similar objections, looks like labeling after the fact. But I do not want to go into that; I'm glad to have left Elliott etc. behind me for trading; I don't need it to make money.
  7. Sorry, my colors were wrong too ....
  8. The other possibility is still there
  9. Didn't make it to 50%, out with +4 tick.
  10. The other possibility ADD: Short triggered
  11. Hi Thales, I do trade FGBL and FDAX with real money. For EUR/USD I use the "SimBroker" from may chart program (Ensign), so that is just paper trading to learn the FX stuff. FX is somewhat different from futures. "EDT" yes, but that was on Monday.
  12. Early exit ok, would have been stopped later.
  13. Long with EUR/USD ADD: No follow-up, just 1 tick to trigger a Long position. ADD: Got out, -10 tick
  14. Good analogy. You may trust the Chef, be assured.
  15. So many counts overlook this rule. There is a useful implication from the rule. When the trader is "in" the 3rd part of a clearly visible three part movement and the 3rd part does not grow beyond 100% of the 1st part, he should get out. The whole movement cannot evolve into a five part movement with a proper 5th part, unless EW theory is false.
  16. Yes it did help me several times, since I began reading this thread. Thanks a lot again. When I first saw it here, I thought "well, he just feels a triangle". But your concept is much better since there is no need for all the tricky details of different types of triangles and their confirmation. One simply waits until price leaves the outer boundaries of the chop zone. That's all, no magic involved.
