  1. I also have a copy of the Tradeguider VSA bootcamp from 2006 that was selling for $500. PM me if you are interested in them. They have suited me well but now sit in the closet. Jonathan
  2. I just switched from using MP via Market Delta to the add-on feature of esignal. The tick increment I choose changes the Value area. I am trading the YM. What tick increment do those who use esignal use or seem to work the best. Thanks, Jonathan Never mind, figured it out. I plan on looking at every tick when calculating Value and auto scale during the day.
  3. I have found a lot of usefulness in Tom William's (Tradeguider) VSA books and was wondering if anyone has bought his chart reading boot camp on CD. If so it is worth the $495? Jonathan
  4. Does anyone have the TradeGuider VSA chart reading bootcamp course? If so it is worth the $495? I have his book along with another one I found online. Jonathan
  5. Does the 10day ATR work better with the 24hr range or the RTH range? Jonathan
  6. Thanks for the response guys, should I get rid of market internals too such as TICK, ADD, P/C? My guess is yes but just want to make sure before I delete them.
  7. Those of you successfully trading MP, do you solely use VSA to take a position at MP and Pivot levels or do you also trade on moving averages looking at RSI etc? I'm trying to put together a strategy but I keep changing it and hence losing $$ Jonathan
  8. I have heard about Wycoff (sp?) volume analysis. Is his stuff any good and is is considered VSA?
  9. Where is a good place to start learning about VSA? I am currently taking the cisco short course but after some reading on TL I am starting to think that it might be a waste as I could have received the same info from Mind Over Markets. How accurate would you say VSA is at finding tops/bottoms? Thanks, Jonathan
  10. Thanks for the replies guys. TinGull, in your 1st post of this thread you said the IB was from 8:30-9:30, and now you say it is 9:30-10:30. Which one is correct? I am taking the Cisco short course and the IB time frame still confuses me. They mention the 1st hour is the IB but sometimes show the pre market on the MP which makes me think it is the 8:20-9:30. Yet not much volume goes off at this time which makes me think it should be the later time frame. JG
  11. TinGull, Do you trade directly after the IB at 9:30EST, or do you wait a half hour to an hour for all the overnight orders to get filled. The 1st hour (2nd hour if you count premarket IB) the market is open is very volatile so I am still trying to figure out how to trade it Thanks, Jonathan
  12. Reading Dalton's book he says a 16/25 TPO count is bullish, yet someone on here, as well as Alex Benjamin say the opposite. Just watched Alex's MP201 vid. Which is the correct interpretation, or is there something I am missing when analyzing the count? Jonathan
  13. Thats some great stuff! Have you continued to track this and if so have your results changed? Any other experienced MP traders care to comment? Jonathan
  14. TinGull, those levels you gave me for the DIA worked amazingly well. As soon as it broke VAH it tanked and I made a quick 15points! Thanks! But I have a question. I have YM quotes and put the mypivots.com MP levels on that chart which was at different times on the chart patter, For example on the DIA price bounced off VAH (levels TinGull gave me) before going down, whereas on the YM #F and levels from mypivots the prices ripped through this level then came back and retraced to it before heading down. Now, to me this looks like an edge knowing the YM penetrated that level whereas DIA hadnt yet. Knowing the YM was heading lower I could simply short DIA once it goes below the VAH because YM already did. Is this common or is this an anomaly. This is my 1st day looking at this. Also, how correct are the mypivots.com MP levels and are they for the YMH7 or YM #F. TinGull, are your YM levels the same as mypivots.com? Thanks in advance! It was a great day trading with these MP levels. I know it's a lot of questions but there is a lot I am thinking about after noticing this reaction. Jonathan
