  1. Brilliant trade and congratulations on the nice profit, Chris! You've incurred a couple of losses recently on account of your platform - why is that? And thanks for sharing what you would have done on the same trade, Brownsfan.
  2. Sorry the glitch mucked up what would've been a nice trade, Chris. Man, that must have sucked. Thanks for explaining the thoughts behind the trade. Brownsfan, thanks for the pointers.
  3. Thanks for generously sharing your trades and blotters with us - Chris, brownsfan and Thalestrader - so we can learn how it's done. It's heartening to know that there are successful traders out there and even more heartening that they take the time to share their methods of spotting high-probability trades with rookies. I've learnt quite a bit from reading your various posts (but am only scratching the surface still), so please keep it up! :thumbs up: (sorry about the emoticons - it's a girl thing) Thanks, Grey1, for sharing the signals from your automated TS8.6 system with us, and everyone who's making this such a great and interactive thread! I'm new to this whole thing, so there'll be lots of daft questions i'll ask - please bear with me? Here are a couple for brownsfan, please: (1) what are these instruments you were trading - GCLX9, ZN29, ZSX9? (2) and if it's not too much trouble, would you be so kind as to explain the oil trade setups to which JKLM refers? Thanks!
  4. Closed out the 0.9216 eurogbp long at 0.9266 for 50 pips.
  5. Amazing stuff, Bathrobe. A long and short in half a day! Keep the trades and signals coming.
  6. Nice trade, Bathrobe! :thumbs up: You went long 100 lots?? Wow.
  7. Bathrobe, sorry to ask stupid questions, but is it the S&P you're trading and what is es please? BrianNC, i look forward to seeing your charts and sim trades. And MM, you're right. I was mean and it was wrong of me. Please accept my apologies. Peace?
  8. Mighty Mouse, Mighty Mouse, You sad sad jaundiced toxic soul. Better a silly rabbit than a rodent with delusions of grandeur and a belligerent tone. Please stop baiting others. You are still not posting anything germane. Why not post your trades, so we can learn from them? As you kindly pointed out, this is a thread about Trader P/L. Thanks to ThalesTrader, Brownsfan and other friendly constructive contributors to this thread, from whom i am learning. My contribution for the day: long eur/ogbp at 9216. Is there a trend to ride or do i take profit? Somebody help. P/S. i am new to all this, i'm afraid. Would someone kindly tell me what ES stands for?
  9. Mighty Mouse, if you think that the traders who post their blotters here are frauds, why do you come here? There's nothing for you here, surely? Perhaps you're better off interacting with your top traders? Please stop beating your drum here. Unless you wish to be constructive and help others, please do not post anything here and poison what is otherwise a very nice environment. Your jaundiced views on marriage and the predatory nature of traders may find more receptiveness elsewhere. Thank you.
  10. Just a note for those considering shelling out an exorbitant amount for a turtle course ... Curtis Faith is one of the successful original turtles and is not running any courses. Those plying the turtle courses are the turtles dropped from the original program, so please don't be fooled. If you do want to learn about the turtles, the book by Curtis Faith is your best bet (and cheap) or his pdf summary of the rules (free) from the url provided by others in this thread. Please do not be taken in by the fraudsters passing themselves off as successful turtles.
