  1. -$2060. Crappy day for me. Jason
  2. +$2600. Not bad, but was up over $4600 earlier in the day. Man, I'm just never satisfied..... Human nature I suppose. Jason PS-I attached my year-to-date P/L graph as well.....
  3. +$4208. Great day for me. Go figure..... Jason
  4. Daedalus, That's great advice. I think I'm going to join you on your day off next time...... Jason
  5. -$1334. Don't know why I even traded today. I hate FOMC announcement days. Sometimes, they reward me handsomely and (well), sometimes not..... Jason
  6. -$24. Need I say more..... Jason
  7. +$2255 (+$6266 for the week). Finally, a decent day after a great day. I'll take that. Just an interesting story here.... My first trade of the day (which is that +$2700 trade in my blotter) was 4 minutes in duration. To be honest, I just got lucky as hell. My system shorted AMLN, right before the bottom dropped out on a huge volume spike at around 10:35ish and then took it's profit at the bottom of that spike. Jason
  8. Hey Bathrobe, I am MAJORLY impressed!!!! Jason
  9. +$4154. A nice day for me... But, I'm crossing my fingers for tomorrow. Jason
  10. Hey Bathrobe, Is this SIM or real money you are trading? Those are some pretty big numbers... Jason
  11. Good luck Dinero. I look forward to the day you go live. Jason
  12. -$680. But, I'll take it. I really thought it was going to end up being much, much worse than this. Check out my daily P/L (1 minute) graph. I was so pissed at around 12:30, when I was down $2700. When my day starts out down and continues getting worse and worse as the day wears on, I just want to bury my head and the sand and cry. Funny though as time rolls on..... I can remember when a -$680 day would be absolutley horrific for me. These days, it's just another day. Jason PS-I've attached my 2010 P/L graph again.......
  13. Dinero, From my perspective, you've been doing AWESOME. I only wish I could be such a good discretionary trader (like yourself). Hell.... Just to be able to have the time to teach myself how to trade in a discretionary fashion would be wonderful. Way to go!!!!! Jason
  14. -$921. I'm joining the crowd today. Jas
  15. +$1458. Not bad, but my system did miss out on $1200 more, because of bad data in the early afternoon..... It happens..... Jason
  16. +$1627. Not a bad day, but a disappointing week where I gave a lot of gains away. Ended week up +$1482. Jason
  17. Hey Dinero, Great job on a great week. You have to be proud of that..... Jason
  18. I keep track of EV and P/L ratio. But, that's probably because I'm automated. I optimize by maximizing my EV and minimizing my draw-downs. As far as discretionary trading, I really don't know if keeping track of EV is appropriate. Perhaps Thales could chime in on this. Jason
  19. -$1289. Another crap-hole of a day. Jason
  20. No problem at all John. But, I must say, my system gave almost every bit of it back today. Jason
  21. I think I failed to mention that I feel like SCREAMING at the top of my lungs....... Jason
  22. -$4040. Utterly and completely worthless piece of crap for a day. As I mentioned before, whenever I have an unusually stellar day (like yesterday), my system ends up giving back almost all of the gains on the following day. But, mind you, if this happened every single time (which it doesn't), then I would always take the following day off. I just HATE trading the day after large gains, because I always do it with such great hesitation. Sucks!!!!! Jason
  23. Well, I had 22 trades yesterday, but only 14 of them were profitable. The other 8 were losers as you can see from my blotter. But thanks for the compliment. These types of days are very few and far between for me, but I'll take 'em when I can get 'em. After days like these, I'm always gun-shy on the following day, because many times, the following day sucks. We'll see...... Jason
  24. $+4911. Great day for me today. Woo Hoo!!!!! Jason
