  1. Hi gucci, Thank you for sharing your valuable volume comparison skills. I have two questions for you--- 1. You said: you could mentally (or actually) go to a higher (slower) resolution level and compare the highlighted areas---For the 5 minutes ES chart, what's the higher (lower) resolution level you suggest to use according to your observation? Do you mean to switch to10 min,15min, 30min or 60min in this specific example? 2. You said: Furthermore you can compare the transition of the black volume starting after 11:30 - 11:40 area ---The chart under discussion is rs5's which is CST. Does your 11:30 - 11:40 area correspond to Bar 24 to Bar 26? TIA
  2. Hi saturo Could you kindly provide a chart to demonstrate your valuable statement? My pea- brain can't visualize the picture. TIA
  3. Hi Ezzy or anyone who is interested in P/ V Relationship Could you shed light on the rule of omitting the FOMC movements? If you do have a rule, does this rule apply to important news release like Consumer Confidence, New home Sales, Crude inventories.... TIA
  4. Hi Ezzy and everyone who is interested in PV relationship, Please see the attachment. I have 2 questions regarding the ES chart--- 1) If the sequence of Blue container stops on 10:50 (close of) bar, how could the X be the point 1 of Pink Container? 2) Assumed both Blue and Pink containers are correctly annotated, how could Y (inside Blue container ) be the pt 2 in geometrical sense and Z be the real pt 2 of Pink container? TIA
  5. Hi Ezzy, Do you mean " B2B" formed from Bars 67, 68, 69 and 70? TIA
  6. Hi FJK angd everyoone who is interested in PV Relationship Bar 63 is DOJI, closes inside Bar 62 and on Increasing Black Volume. It sure looks like sequence completed here. Could you shed light how a trader should not go short on Bar 63? The up trend kept going on till the end of the day. TIA
  7. Hi Spydertrader I know we have to move Gap for ES (or YM) trading. Is it suggested to move Gap for equities trading? TIA
  8. Hi Spydertrader and all who are interested in PV relationship I have the same question as treeline had. Besides that, I would like to know how to treat "old trendline A" after we have Accelerated "trendline B" and "trendline C". Shall we ----------- 1) Discard old trendline A? 2) Up grade old trendline A one fractal slower? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA
  9. Hi rs5, all Price/Volume Relationship students or Spydertrder, Could you explain what Non-Stationary Window means? How is NSW formed? Does NSW affect Trendlines, Price movement, Gaussians, Fractals, WMCN, Contexts and Order of Events? Also it seems NSW goes with VE and Move forward (over)--- 1) NSW 08JAN2010: VE (non-stationary window moves forward) 2) NSW 09FEB2010: VE NSW moves over 3) NSW 16FEB2010: VE, close in gap, NSW moves over, repeat 2r 2b TIA
  10. Hi TIKITRADER,

If it's not too much trouble, could you post a clear, not annotated ES chart for 29January2010. Besides data freeze,I missed the 1st hour of bars. TIA

    Best,

  11. Answers for 7 Examples: A) Laterals 1,4,6 and 7 comply with those examples which exist in The Lateral Formation Drill. Reason: No bar penetrated upper or bottom boundary before boundary testing. B) Laterals 2 and 5 don't comply with those examples which exist in The Lateral Formation Drill. Reason: One bar penetrated upper or bottom boundary before boundary testing. C)Lateral 3 doesn't comply with those examples which exist in The formation Drill. Reason: The 2nd bar of the Lateral is FBP; it's not SYM.
  12. Hi Spydertrader and All JHM Students, A) Observation on SYM Lateral starts on Bar 43--- 1) SYM forms on Bar 44 2) Bar 46 is the first bar which tests the bottom boundary of the Lateral 3) This is a legitimate SYM Lateral comparing to the Lateral Drill pattern. B) Observation on [sYM] Lateral starts on Bar 57--- a) Ignoring the rule that an IBGS with Increasing Volume terminates a Lateral: 1) SYM forms on Bar 58 2) Bar 62 is the bar which tests the bottom boundary of the Lateral; yet, Bar 61 penetrated (FBO) the bottom boundary of the Lateral before Bar 62 . 3) This is not a legitimate SYM Lateral comparing to the Lateral Drill pattern. b) Apply the rule that an IBGS with Increasing Volume terminates a Lateral: 1) SYM forms on Bar 58 2) Bar 61 penetrated (FBO) the bottom boundary of the Lateral and ends the Lateral. 3) There is no bar testing the bottom boundary of the Lateral before Bar 61. 4) This is not a legitimate SYM Lateral comparing to the Lateral Drill pattern. All comments are welcome and appreciated! TIA
  13. Hi Spydertrader I have been gazing at the ES 12/21/2009 Lateral Drill chart for many times. Still I find there is a conflict between the way you teminats Lateral Two and your post on 07-14-2009 05:22 PM. 1) Based on the rules you posted on 07-14-2009 05:22 PM, I drew the doted line in bright blue to show the Lateral which starts on Bar 16 and ends on Bar 26 2) Bar 16 initiats the Lateral Two; you end the Lateral ( boundaries are in plum color) on bar 21. 3) Bar 21 closes outside the upper boundary of the lateral (boundaries in plumcolor) 4) Bar 22 is SYM and its close is on the upper boundary of the lateral, in other words, Bar 22 doesn't close outside the boundary. 5) Bar 23 is Hitch and its close is inside the upper boundary of the lateral 6) Bar 24 closes inside the upper boundary of the lateral 7) Bar 25 is OB and its close is on the upper boundary of the lateral 8) Bar 26 is SYM and it closes outside the u[[er boundary of the Lateral. Bar 26 ends the Lateral 9) Bar 27 is the second bar which closes outside the Lateral and terminats the Lateral Could you tell us if you updated the rules for the termination of Lateral? If you did, what's the new rules for us to follow? Or, could you point out what kind of mistakes I made in terms of interpreting bars, closes and boundaries? Everyone is welcome to participate in the Lateral discussion. TIA
  14. Hi rs5 Thank you for your persistently posting ES charts. I am wondering why you didn't mark Bar55, 67 and 79 respectively as the first bar of each SYM Lateral. Could you explain it? Everyone is welcome to participate in this SYM Lateral discussion. TIA
  15. Hi folks, Jack Hershey is teaching how to differentiate Retrace from Reversal. Good trading to everyone!
  16. Hi dkm, Does your Forest Green trendline represent Channel? Are Fuchsia and Blue trendlines for Traverse? TIA
  17. Hi Jhon Thank you for your post. Could you provide some current ES charts to illustrate how Laterl makes you jumping fractals? TIA
  18. Hi ehorn, Does the green trendline represent "Traverse"? Does the blue trendline represent "Tape"? Please comment. TIA
  19. Hi romanus and all friends who are in Price/Volume Relationship, First of all, I assumed romanus's chart was accurately annotated. I have difficulty read the Market regarding Sequence completion and Dominance/Non-dominance: 1) Under what condition of context,10:25 Spike bar (non-dominance) on Increasing Volume is qulafied to complete the ES 5 min Down Traverse? 2) Why the 14:05 bar was not the point 2 of ES 5 min Up Traverse which started at 10:35? 3) Two scenarios regarding sequence completion of ES 5 min up traverse which started at 10:35-- a) 15:30 bar completed the ES 5 min Up Traverse because this bar on IBV was beyond the red tape (started at 15:05): and,15:35 bar was a continuation. b) 15:35 bar completed the ES 5 min Up Traverse because the close of 15:30 bar was inside the 15:10 bar. Comments and your thoughts are greatly appreciated. TIA
  20. Hi romanus, Is it because point 2 of Medium Blue up Traverse overlapped with Medium Pink Down Traverse?
  21. Thank you cnms2 for your suggestion. Bars A,B,C, D & E after point 3 (circled) are not inside the pink heavy trendline . How do you handle these 5 bars? TIA
