yes....downloaded it 2 weeks ago. I stable & fine. Yes, shows the seconds on chart, & can make 'seconds' trading charts, as added to the list. ajax358

thx Ingot........ that is the issue I have with MT4.....as have TS, & can layer as many indicators in one level as one wishes.....so they 'overlap' one another in the same level/pane, or whatever ones platform calls it.....is a "level" in TS. So, thx......means I will stay with TS, as have had it for 6 years and am happy with it & the very fast executions of market or limit orders. I found out MT4 does not have a 'dom' like TS (called a Matrix), or a 'dom' like Ninjatrader.....but when asked the rep at MT, he said one can add it (NinjaTrader) onto it, but the order execution has issues....but when pressed what they were, he was not very informative. So, I called back 30 minutes later to get another tech there....but got same guy with limited & not very knowledgeable answers to my technical questions= I will pass on them....they lost a potential client due to lame brains.....loll.... anyway....will look at them in 6 months & see if they change at all.... thx again.......ciao......ajax358

also....I forgot to ask this question too, of MetaTrader......can there be 'more' than "one Level" of indicators under Price? The above pic you have the MACD & Stoch together, & is what I want to do....but can one make 'another' Level ("Window" as you called it) under this MACD/Stoch level? I want one more 'Level, as have another 'layer/Level' of indicators....so '2' Levels of indicators under Price. Thx ahead of time for your answer.... ciao....ajax358

Hi mate/Ingot54, Dang I just typed a long reply....then was bounced out after cat was on keyboard....ok, try again....lol. Yes, this pic of your is the 'look' I was looking for!!......thx allot!! What I meant was to "layer indicators" in a "Level" under Price. In TS(TradeStation), it is called a "indicator Levels", so why I used that term. In TS, one can use up to 20 ‘Levels’ of indicators under Price if one wishes. And, can ‘layer’ indicators into the ‘same’ level too, meaning have more than one indicator in a level, just like ur pic. That is the trading system I have come up with after 5 years of learning & now 2 years of successfully trading this system of ‘layered indicators in the ‘Levels’ under Price. I have found the inputs I use for these indicators are very effective & are custom inputs….after years of backtesting & trading live, literally hundreds of hours to get the input values, as will share here. I have gotten the Slow Stoch to ‘lead’ the MACD, in the same ‘Level’, as it is easier to see in the same level & layered ‘on’ one another. The MACD inputs are (5,16,10). The Slow Stochastic is (11,8,8,1,30,70). The Stoch leads the MACD in ‘real’ turns, & if is a fakeout, or a very short run, it will be on top of the MACD, or lag behind it, & is why can see ahead of time how long & strong the move is. I post these ‘looks’ in the MIRC chatrooms I am in. See, what you think of these input values….& see if they are of any use to you, & others that may read this. I share freely, as others have shared with me, to help me get to where I am now, & thus have a spiritual self duty to share back. As a semi-retired ‘doc’, am used to it too, helping one another….& can see by some of your threads, you council folks in here on the ‘psychology of trading’, & a few I have read, you are spot on with your assessments……...good on ya mate….  Thanks again for the reply & pic….is exactly what I wanted to do. Am considering using MBTrading as a Forex broker here on the west coast of USA, & they have the MetaTrader free charting on their platform, thus the question above, & the needs I have to layer the Levels of indicators, in my trading methods. thx Ingot54, I am thinking of using it here in the USA (PST/Seattle), for trading. Have a trading friend in Ohio that is using it for Forex trades & says it trades very well (he uses 30 & 60 minute charts)...he has been using it for 1 year now. He used to be on TS, like I am now....but he, & I, like the no monthly fees with this platform. As well as the indicators I have custom made, I have found on the net, that download into MT, so means that I can do the same trading. One question I have tho, is if there can be 'more than one' indicator in a 'level'....ie., using a MACD & a Stoch in 'same level', as I do with TS (have found the Stoch leads the MACD in real turns on the charts, so is a great heads up)....so having them in the same 'level' is paramount to me to switch! If anyone knows if this can be done, indicators in 'one level', ples let me know....thx ahead of time. ciao....ajax358

thx allot....great link!! This is turning out to be a great indicator, & has taken my day trading to the next level, as well as 'swings' too!! I have tested the 3 input levels above, in both backtesting & live trading....the Std=9,26,52; the 8,24,48; & 7,22,44 (this last one stated to adapt to the current 5 trading days, versus the original formula for '6' trading days). The final analysis was that the 'middle' one, as seems to mirror the orignal formaul almost closely, but a littel quicker in the turns, so the (8,24,48) am using now....for day trading the ES & NQ, on 610/377/233 tick charts. Any feedback to these or other inputs is greatly appreciated!!....thx for the postings on this great, but unknown to most, topic!! ciao.....ajax358 .....

thx Iris!! Good suggestions & will backtest the inputs ya listed. As new to this indicator, have added it to my charts....past 3 days trading did very well on 610/377/233 tick charts. The 'cloud' saw the breakouts & congestion very well. Will further backtest all yourt inputs this weekend, then will post a results later next week. many thx for this indicator!!! Just found it yesterday & been backtesting it for 2 days now. Found that it trades well for 'day trading' too, on smaller time frames, on 610/377/233 tick charts, for the ES & NQ!! I compared the original input settings (9,26,52), with the alternate settings posted in this thread of (7,22,44) on charts & tested them side by side....found these 'later' settings were 'better in the turns' than the original ones, imo, & backtesting & trading live today....they were quicker by about 2-5 bars, per turn. See what any of you think, & opinions are welcome feedback. thx again....great indicator!! ajax358....

And, as I already stated, & you obviously did not follow your own directions "to read", and that I found it out on 'my own' when went to TS techies, & that had nothing to do with you & was before your post. "Wallan1"................hey great work & thx for sharing. I copied the above text & made an ELD....works great!! Thx very much for sharing!! This indiocator is one of my primary trend indicator, along with "StrategyRTSync", (from the TS library)....they work very well together, in the same level, & turn as Price turns....but have modified/other input settings from yours, that it turns the rubberB just before/as Price turns. Did allot of backtesting until came up with these input settings many months ago, on the first posting rubberB/142 indicator. These faster settings for the inputs I use are these, & try them out & feedback is more than welsome....suggestions to improve especially. Inputs: LongLeg= 8 Shortleg= 5 MultiLeg= 5 MultiW= 1 ....(the rest I keep the same as yours, but changed the colors for my charts, in the inputs). These settingsd work on all time frames, from my Daily/Weekly swing trade charts, to my daily scalping charts (233/377/610 tick charts)(233tk, as entry chart; & 377/610 as trade mgm charts in the scalp trades). Tams..............the truth is NOT that truth....a fact!! The fact is, TS changed the format page, & I could not find the "easylanguage" icon nor link, as they re-ordered the TS tools label. I had to call TS to find out where they put it....was easy when I found it. So, yes I know how to make an indicator, when can find the correct tab/label...as now have. So, no thx or help from you. Hmmmmm, I thought this site was to help one another, not belittle or berate folks??....hmmmm....something for ya to think about, rather than snide remarks. In fact, I have always held your comments & posts with thx, as you post many indicators, & shared them....so that thought & feeling has not changed at all, in fact I appreciate your efforts & have posted those thx to you an number of times.....just the belittleing ones are trite & mundane, & shows the real character of a person.........

Dirk....thx for the support against attitudinal people....they make Life harder than it already is...thx for taking my back. to the Author/'neal51'....great Indicator!! Been using it for over a year now.....sees the truns real well on any time frame, from scalping to swing trades. In TS, I use it in a level with the "jtHMA" indicator, as they see the turns very close to one another & validate one another.....& this level of 2 ta's, validates my priimary level of MACD/Stoch combo.....all four make a great read in the turns & trends. Thanks "author" for posting this great indicator..... To this new author update with colors.....will get it copied to TS easylanguage & see if can get it done. I asked a legitamte question to the author, not a smart ass commment from a person that obviously does not care. A real helpful response would be most approriate. Hey Tams, Thx for this great looking indicator....would like to use it....but, tried to load into TS, from the "pla" above. TS would not load it, & was kicked to a 'search the internet' window. So, then did a 'copy/paste', to create a new ELD.....after pasted it, hit the F3 to 'verify'.....came back with "6 errors"....so would not load.... So, do you or anyone have a version that does load?? Any help would be appreciated, if it can be done. Thx ahead of time. ajax358

Tams....FYI.....just finished day of trading...the new Lateral Formation'3' worked great!!!!....no hiccups & put lines on chart just like yours, & there was no lines 'all way back thru charts' as before. So, this fix of yours worked for the "tick" charts. As you said, the indicator was made for "minute" charts....I checked minute charts with both LatFormation 2 & 3.....both were same & fine on minute charts. So, all is good & backtested & works on TradeSatation just fine for "#3" version. I can't post charts, as the charts are on my other puter....& don't know how to post them as well.... not geeky enuff....but can backtest well.... Thx mucho.......ajax358....

Tams.....just copied the #3 version to TS & made an indicator......loaded it on charts....at first, the tabs blinked out whe tried to click on them...then re-loaded the indicator, & it worked just fine!! The lines to the left, are now NOT across the charts now! So, thx there chum, for the update, as it works great now. I use it on all my charts, then use my Stoch/MACD primary indicators as the lead in turns, then watch for the breakout of these "lateral formation" lines, & is a killer combo in tick charts day trading. I did copy the whole thing & it did not work.....TS verified it on the close of the indicator creation, but when loaded to the window nothing loaded=it was blank. So I guess it is not so easy, as per the results of the above statement. As I asked, if someone could just copy & paste the entire one that works, then I will test it out & try it, then report back. If no one does, then I will pass on this....see is easy. Thx for someone to post it or the ELD....
