  1. The question was "is all the big house trading automated or is there still room for manual trading" I could not supply an answer because I do not know how the big houses trade futs like ES regards
  2. Hi there, I have been trading ES intraday for a number of years and before that Fx all for a total of fifteen years. In the past I watched the big ES trades flow through the T&S each day (filter >99) and I watched their effect upon price but I had no idea of the basis for their strategies and nor did I care. I don't do that anymore,I am a price trader However, someone asked me a question the other day concerning Wall Street Traders and when I told him that I could not answer him accurately, he was somewhat surprised. Can anyone point me in a direction that will help fill in the hole in my knowledge. When I say that I have "no idea" that is a little unfair as I am well aware of the advantages that the GS and JPMs of this lopsided game enjoy at the expense of others but I would be fascinated to learn more about their world out of sheer idle curiosity. many thanks and kind regards J
  3. Thanks BF, My Broker is generous enough to give me free access to T4. OpenEcry is US Broker, or have they now opened offshore. regards John
  4. Hi there, I am interested in your opinion regarding selecting a non US market and Broker for intraday trading. Since I trade ES, it has been suggested the best equivalent is FDAX and that being the case I still need a Broker with a solid front end and maybe charting. (I am a T4 guy with the ES) However there may be other products I should consider. My location is Caribbean and I do not want to start work before 8am if possible. I might add that I have no problem with ES and my Chicago Broker, quite the contrary in fact, but my eggs are all in one basket. many thanks John
  5. Has anyone experienced their protective stop being blown through during the RTH session on ES. If your stop is entered well ahead of price movement, has price blown through your stop leaving you still in the market and several points on the wrong side of the price action. Interested in your comments John
  6. Hi there, I need a good world clock for my desktop and I am thinking of an active world map clock as a screen saver. Any suggestions? Currently I am running Qlock (free edition) but before I pay money I want to see what my best options are apart from Kybtec cheers John
