  1. Could someone post a price and volume 5m ES chart for Friday and or Thursday? Doesn't need to be annotated, blank would work fine. Thanks - EZ
  2. Looks like they already took them down. If/when I get it resolved I'll let everyone know. - EZ
  3. Below is the series of Meetups recorded in 2006. They are mostly on stocks and using indicators. There is also an audio of Spydertrader from the Jan 25, 2007 Tucson Meeetup The last two are documents everyone should have already read, if not this is where you start. If you haven't read them before and don't understand what the "scoring" is, some of the information presented in the videos won't make any sense. Note: The "Putting the Pieces Together" Camtasia posted for Oddi on the 26th (last one in the group) belongs with this 2006 series. It was done on 6-22-2006. 4. The first set posted were recorded over a weekend in Tucson, Jan '07 with Jack and Spyder, except for the "Putting the Pieces Together" which was from an '06 Meetup. The Meetups were an IBD type group that Jack ran for a short while. (Do something, Learn something, Share something, Change something - Meetup.com) The above set is the rest of the '07 Meetups that were posted at the time, plus a couple older videos on channels. When I finish sorting through the '06 Meetups, I'll post the relevant ones, not all of them were Hershey meetings. Regards, EZ
  5. Finally! This one is about four times the size of the others. It will take a while to DL. http://www.filedropper.com/meetup2007-07-26futureslogic
  6. This will just about finish up the 2007 Meetups. One more is coming but it's large and taking forever to upload. The first two are Pr0crast's, the one on Gaussians, and one on Resolution - Coarse, Medium and Fine. Good timing as someone was just asking about resolution levels. The last two are on drawing channels. Logical Charting is more basic and was done early on. The one by Bundle has more depth. These are good for anyone new to channels. Since they are a few years old you may find some minor differences in terminology or technique. http://www.filedropper.com/meetup2007-05-24usingesgaussians-eric http://www.filedropper.com/meetup2007-4-26resolutionsufficiency-eric http://www.filedropper.com/meetup2007-05-10pricevolumerelationship-cycles http://www.filedropper.com/meetup2007-06-14gaussians http://www.filedropper.com/channelsforbeginners-bundlemaker http://www.filedropper.com/logicalcharting101presentation
  7. A few people were having trouble viewing the videos. It's a codec issue in Windows Media Player. For Windows Media Player download the K-lite Codec Full or Mega pack: k-lite codec downloads - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com Or to skip the Microsoft issues altogether, download VLC Media Player: VLC Media Player - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com
  8. Someone was looking for these files so I compressed uploaded them to a site for those that have lost them or have never had a chance to see them. Not sure how long they will keep them available so get ‘em while you can. They are from the Tuscon January ’07 meeting, along with the “Putting the Pieces Together” Meetup from ‘06. The Putting the pieces video is just audio with a desktop screen shot, the included pdf has the transcription of the meeting with all the charts. You will need WinRar to un-zip them. It has a free 40 day trial, get it here: WinRAR (64-bit) - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com Here are the files, enjoy: http://www.filedropper.com/20070126fri0800annotatingstocks_1 http://www.filedropper.com/20070126fri0930ias-dasstocks http://www.filedropper.com/20070126fri1100stocksbattingorder-6-06rev http://www.filedropper.com/20070126fri1300aes-ftt-flaws http://www.filedropper.com/20070126fri1300bes-ftt-channels http://www.filedropper.com/20070126fri1445cont-changebarbybar http://www.filedropper.com/20070126fri1630morebarbybar http://www.filedropper.com/20070126sat0830es-pv http://www.filedropper.com/20070126sat1000 http://www.filedropper.com/20070126sat1100gaussians http://www.filedropper.com/20070126sat1130camtasia http://www.filedropper.com/20070126sat1300theroutine http://www.filedropper.com/20070126sat1500 http://www.filedropper.com/20070126sat1630 http://www.filedropper.com/20070126sun0830matrix-dom-sqz-str-ts http://www.filedropper.com/20070126sun1000asweep-tick http://www.filedropper.com/20070126sun1000bticks-handcharts- http://www.filedropper.com/20070126mon0730realtime http://www.filedropper.com/presentationfiles http://www.filedropper.com/meetupsputtingthepiecestogether
  9. No I didn't catch that, but do agree. If often works out that way.
  10. Good memory. What you posted was the only "formal" write up. The "Report" was going to be part of series being done that was never completed, way back MSN board days. Couple thoughts on it: Use it mechanically and get chopped up. But it's a good drill to do. Don't use it in low volume. Lateral movement will kill it too. Not sure if it was created to help people who had trouble switching sides, kind of like the wash drill. It can be used as a fail safe. To get more efficient you want to get as close to the LTL/FTT as possible. If you are on the wrong side of the market, consider the RTL as a last line of defense, line in the sand. Then IF2, then on to an IBGS type bar, and on to the (max efficiency) 2 pair at the top/bottom of the FTT bar at the finest level. If you use it all the time you will get chopped up. You're trading before the bar closes. Pick your spots carefully. Some days it will seem to work great, others a nightmare. :boxing:
  11. I think observable is the key word here. Trying to stick to what is observable on the 5min. There is a lot more to see on each leg on the YM 2min or a 1min ES. For example if you go to a faster time frame, the retraces on the other legs have a full volume cycle. That was missing here (and I can see that on the 5min) which led me to believe it was on a different level. Agree, making money is the end game from all the time spent learning. Thanks for your comments. Regards - EZ
  12. Thanks, I see the revisions but they don't help with the 11:40 to 12:45 section (10:40 to 13:45 on the posted chart). FWIW, I have 9:50 IBGS on Friday (10:50 on the posted chart) as the new Pt1 up. Differentiating fractals: Pace level, volume peaks/troughs, and BBT/Tape breaks. On fast to extreme pace levels you might not see the BBT's, the slower pace levels is where they tend to show up. Components for this example: Looking for a complete volume cycle on each leg. Also want to see increasing volume on a tape break or it's a fan with building block tapes within. In summary while I can see your view, and Spyder seems to have verified it, RS's original view is what I had worked out in RT. Feels like I'm having to force the gaussian cycles to see it otherwise. 11:40 to 14:00 looks like is all non dominant 2 to 3 volume, with a full b2b 2r 2b volume cycle.
  13. For discussions sake, last Wednesday's chart (RS's revised example) to be correct, we're saying: pt1 to pt2 = pt2 to pt3 = pt3 to VE as far as the fractal level (tape/traverse) they are on. I have a hard time with pt2 to pt3 leg being the same level as the others. Doesn't seem like it has the same components as the others.
  14. Attached are several charts, a 3 day 5min, to check your carry over and data. A 15 minute for a different perspective. And a 1 day 5 min chart to compare your scale. Just my opinion but with a scale that tight it must be hard to follow the bar ticks up and down. Originally a 10 point scale was recommended. For my software 12 - 15 point scale works nice. FWIW I didn't have the heavy weight, light blue container that's on your chart. Could be an error on my part, just saying. A suggestion, it's nice if there is a time scale showing on the posted charts to help locate where certain points are, as well as the correct date.
  15. Interesting side note, I asked in the following post, when the current layout or "window attributes" was designed (for editing trend-lines) as they said it was based on the majority of customer requests. And I suggested that they have many new users who use their software in new ways. Also informed them that I had 3 friends this year switch to another platform because TN was a bit cumbersome to use. This post was deleted, it's not the first time I've had posts deleted there. You would think they would be open to "all" customer feedback to improve their software instead of hiding from the fact that ease of use is also a very important feature. It certainly explains why it has been so difficult to get some of the improvements done.
  16. There are a couple improvements we've been trying to get TN to add. If you agree with these please go to their forum any let them know as they will not send it to development unless they get more requests. The two items here are adding more line thicknesses and separating the line thicknesses from the line style. And combining the 2 edit windows to eliminate extra clicks. If you have other suggestions for these (like expanding their color pallet) please note them too. Genesisft Forum Link
  17. See attached chart. You are missing a level of gaussians. Look at RS's charts, a few of mine have blue lines to make it obvious where they come together. For each level you will see a pair of lines for that level. I put some blue lines on your chart. Corrections on your chart are based on your TL's, which may or may not be correct. I'd be surprised to find someone here that doesn't have trouble with separating the fractals levels, myself included. Show of hands if anyone has it nailed down, please. Everyone makes mistakes, my charts have mistakes. In fact DKM had the correct annotations for last Thurs-Fri IMO. There is no gold standard charts here as we're all learning. Regards - EZ
  18. Real quick, you should not be re-drawing and fanning the thick red from 11:40. The move up to 11:10 is an increasing black gaussian. By being higher than the prior day's high, it can't possibly be decreasing black. Decreasing red the rest of the day. 1st med green up was fanned 3 times. Don't fan it. The 2nd med green is fine. 13:20 pt1, 13:45 pt2 of a non-dom within the med green. Make those adjustments, then compare with RS's chart of that day for the gaussian nesting. Work out the bigger picture gaussian discrepancies with the above changes. Regards - EZ
  19. Friday 3-19-2010 Chart. Both are the same, just testing resolution.
  20. Either the point 1's are incorrect, or the gaussians are. TL's can't start in the middle of a b2b or r2r, period. We already went over one of these.
  21. No rule, just winging it, which isn't very binary. Treating it like an overnight gap, separate event. So for sequence purposes here excluding it. Might not do that on another announcement depending on how it works out. Usually after these events the market goes back to what it was doing before the announcement.
  22. See corrected chart, reworked area 15:30 Friday to 9:55 today. Assume nothing. I had just finished revising this, what timing.
