  1. Recap of Yesterday: Pretty straightforward day IMO. That level shown with the dotted blue line was a level that wasn't necessarily reacted on to the tic, but activity a point higher at 2010 was obvious during trading. We also rallied right up to anticipated resistance after breaking out of this range we created. Thoughts for Today: Made a few changes in the ranges, nothing major. I will be watching the AH activity as well.
  2. Recap for Yesterday: Yesterday seemed to produce a REALLY orderly market! Two major moves throughout the day. Thoughts for Today: My tic data doesn't really go back far enough to see prior intraday moves. For now I am watching this 2010 area, and also 2020-2021 above. Everything else is the same.
  3. Recap of Yesterday: Not a clear day for me and a few others I spoke with yesterday. No trades, the day didn't really setup the way I'd like. No real triggers for me at the extremes. Thoughts for Today: I have adjusted this upper region we are in now. Other ranges are marked. Note the little range being created premarket.
  4. Recap of Friday: After finally breaking out, we went right up to that level and stopped on a level picked off of the daily:cool: The rest is on the chart. Thoughts for Today: I am not changing anything atm, note that I will be watching the AH high put in place, and possible areas with 2008 and 2020 above pulled from daily.
  5. Good Morning. Recap of Yesterday: After opening within the range we discussed premarket, we broke down and found good support around 60s. From there strong move upwards with various pauses. We then consolidated in the 77-86 area, with chop up to the midpoint at highest. Overnight activity shows a move right up to the upper edge of that range. Thoughts for today: I am not changing anything at the moment, there is a immediate level above at 92 that is not seen on my chart.
  6. Good Morning! Recap of Yesterday: As usual, shown are the levels that we had in place for yesterday and how the market moved with them. Things worked out ok, although we did somewhat create a bit of a new range that shifted the one slightly down. By that I mean take a look at the big range up top, purple arrow. Now note the red box, this is how that range up top seems to have shifted slightly. But other than that, all levels and ranges still worked out well. I may not have explained that well Thoughts for Today: Minor changes. Although the ranges I had yesterday I will leave in place. That transposing I spoke of above is taken care of by midpoints shown by the dotted blue lines. But it all should be clear on the chart. Also, since I am creating this prior to the open, not the range that is being created prior to the open shown by that little red box at the right edge of the chart. We will see how that plays out. Might be too early to call, but let's see if conditions set up for a buy opportunity, particularly if we open at bottom of that box. Inverse for the top of the box. Possibly we may just break out of the box in the direction of the BO. Although anything can happen:confused:

  8. Recap of Yesterday: Here is what happened yesterday. Yesterday was a bit tricky IMO due to the early chop we started with. Even though the early chop DID occur in a predefined range and may have been somewhat orderly. I was shaken out of my early long as I was aggressive to move stop to BE due to the lack of initial follow through and was stoped to the tic, before moving well out to my targets. Thoughts for today: Nothing changing, save for the fact that I will watch yesterday's high for possible resistance as shown on the chart. Other areas and ranges are shown as well.
  9. Howdy. Recap of Yesterday: A bit of a tricky open IMO, as market didn't open at any of the range extremes I was watching. Although the market clearly respected the areas we were watching through out the day. Thoughts for today: Not changing much for today. Only difference is the activity that happened at the top. This area is a clear range IMO now, so notice the changes. Will be observing the level I had yesterday as simply more of a midpoint that formed that larger range.
  10. Back in town, and here are my thoughts for today. You can see there are several ranges that may come into play for the day. Many other levels of interest, but these highlighted appear to be the clear ranges IMO. Not shown here but above pulled from daily is 90-92.
  11. Good article. The 911 is now a beast, the list of improvements they've made is vast. It is obviously waaaay more refined than the Brute (ZR-1), but that's almost any car these days. Build quality of the vette sucks too. The 911 has a crazy hole shot now, and nothing looks to compare in the 60ft as it smoked the ZR1 badly, a full half second in the quarter. This is evident in the progressiveness of the jump off. The ZR1 just can't match the get-off of the 911's AWD. But you see the ZR1 starting to gain ground as it goes through quarter as the lead dies off. It's still a straight line dust up of the Zr1 though, but the Brute's additional 140hp does begin to catch up. But..... It appears to say it's downright faster than the ZR-1 is a bit unfair... based on that article. Here are some highlights from the article.
  12. The 458 Italia by Ferrari. This is the upgrade over the 360 and the 430 Ferraris, and will be competition for the above Lambo, as they are both have virtually the same hp rating. This thing is powered by a Direct Injected 4.5 Liter V8 rated at 562 hp. It is RWD unlike the Lambo above. IMO the lines on this car are absolutely beautiful and worth drooling over. Take a look at the front headlight area and rear hind quarters. The interior is fabulous as well. Look at the steering wheel along with the instrument cluster. The nav is even mindfully placed where the driver gets the most use from it, not necessarily appeasement to the passenger like most cars. My only gripe would be the 7speed auto xmsn will not be replaceable with a 6speed manual of some sort [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWgiAxJy_4A]YouTube - Ferrari 458 Italia driven by autocar.co.uk[/ame]
  13. The 2011 Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera is the latest bull from Lamborghini. Highlights for this new AWD puppy include 150+lbs weight loss coming from a diet of many carbon fiber parts, optional ceramic brakes, 10hp increase over last year to a new 562 hp and a carbon fiber laced interior. This thing is absolutely gorgeous IMO [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5y-zxAT8Yzg&feature=sub]YouTube - First Drive: 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera[/ame]
  14. That would be a silly comparison. You really have to look at the cars individually as too many are entities in their own rights. Engineering that went into it, cost, performance, styling, exclusivity etc..... That's why it's sometimes silly to say car X is better than car Z. Casual outsiders that watch James Bond films make such comparisons.... not people that understand or appreciate how all these variables can fit together. Most cars have "some" value. The ZR1 for examples absolutely the best bang for buck super car in terms of sheer performance( and many tests have that car absolutely smoking other Lamborghinis, Porsches and other expensive cars in straight lines and around corners), but is lacking in many departments(build quality, interior, refinement etc) to the more expensive counterparts. BUt if you want a grocery getter that is affordable and can be easily modified to be a street driven low 11 second car, get an evo. If engineering and exclusivity is your thing, the ENZO is just about unbeatable. The spectrum is wide and vast. For example I think the Enzo is hideous, but how can you not appreciate the engineering that went into that machine, I might call it a piece of art, albeit an ugly one, but whatever. Each bringing something different. Usually too many variables to make certain comparisons.
  15. Recap of Yesterday: Wow, I probably couldn't have drawn the levels any better if I had waited for the market to close. As the market reacted nicely to the levels yesterday. IT even reacted nicely to that large overhead resistance above picked from the daily. It even confirmed that there was a lot of air there as it went straight up. Thoughts on Today:
  16. I personally am usually disgusted by these Italian monstrosities, and the extreme exclusivity in particular of the Enzo. I also think this car is hideous. But some serious thought went into its development. Nice commentary on the characteristics of the car in this vid. 17. What I'm looking at for today. We can see the area the market spent some time in yesterday with that range from 45 to 50, this range was used more in AH. There is also yesterday high there too. So there appears to be some clear ranges there. Also the level above pulled from the Daily.
  18. Just wondering, whether it is free or not, if there are any good sources to obtain tic data for various futures contracts.
  19. Right after I posted in this thread, I told my friend who just went shopping at both Old Navy and Gap and spent about $180. I gave her the coupon and she returned it, got a price adjustment with the coupon, and even bought more stuff. She says thanks!
  20. Dangit, i am not going back out this weekend!!! Someone posted something like this a while back and I missed it then too. Yes please post next time you see this.
  21. The Danish made Zenvo! More than 1,100 bhp, powered with a vette motor equipped with a both a turbo AND supercharger. If this doesn't get top billing for exotic and over the top, what does? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mTDCTcVNjs&feature=sub]YouTube - Great Dane: Zenvo ST1[/ame]
  22. Recap of Today: I did not post chart last night, but here is how things played out with my levels. All looks easy in HS, but not always so clear in real time. Thoughts for Tomorrow: Not changing anything, I see potential above as shown on the chart, at least the daily seems that way, but who knows?
  23. Recap of Today: So the 1930 area got some play a bit after open. Shown are the main range that came into play today, along with a bit of shifting towards the bottom edge of that range. Also above that range, we got a bit of a range from that 24-30 area. Thoughts for tomorrow: Not changing much as of now. I'm showing what seem to be the larger distinct ranges as the way I see it as it sits now, although there is still much in between. We still have the 1940 above. This 1928 -30 area seems to be more or less a zone of resistance at the moment with today's high and POC in this area.
  24. I have highlighted an area the price moved to right after the open. Just based on a micro entry perspective, is there anything here that looks like a good entry? IMO there seems to be no serious expansion in Vol, although price was moving rapidly into it.
  25. Recap of Today: Price did wind up getting a great bounce off that 14 area at the open, but 1914 was a nice reaction first thing after open!! There was more of a reaction to the downside after price broke through and bounced off it and headed down. But the rest is in the green square, we did accumulate for a good while in that 1905 area. Maybe a decent long right on the open. Thoughts on Tomorrow: Some good ranges shown here on the chart. Also 1930 and 1940 are possible areas above. Kewl. I have been observing these as well. I have not posted much about them, but I have found some very nice opportunities in those areas recently. If anyone else is interested, take a look at a similiar chart as shown below, and see what you think. One thing for sure, is that it's easy to recognize when certain trading conditions are present, namely that the market is range bound and likely to present good ranged conditions.... if market is in strong trend, these POCs are visited much less, and if constantly moving in between, more likely that we are in good ranged conditions.
