MoreYummy started following Favorite Emini Brokers, Is There a #tick Like Symbol in HSi's Market Like #tick in New York Stock Exchange?, Zenfire and DTN Feed Different? and and 7 others
-
So after a realtime bid/ask fill during intraday using DTN.iq, you would get an exact chart as using CME's chart at the end of day?
-
Which is more volatile, HSI, DAX, Kospi?
-
Is the execution of trade and data being done throught CQG, or CQG just for data, and execution is separated? This might be off topic, Is the TT package include data and trade execution? Has anyone tried both and compare the accuracy and speed of execution?
-
If it is true, he probably means the order is not actually entered into exchange after it shows him its executed. If it is true, then it is a big case to present it to NFA, or regulatory body to shut it down, since all future brokers are regulated in north america at least.
-
Soultrader, are you trading kospi with nh future? I asked nh future in the link, but english version is not available yet. And do you know any free demo to see Kospi future's volatility and how it looks like overall in day trade.
-
What is DTN.IQ? Data fee only? Which chart software can use their data? And how is CQG compare to zenfire and DTN.IQ's data completeness/accuracy during real time?

Self-discipline = Key for Daytrading
MoreYummy replied to gethim's topic in Day Trading and Scalping
cool. Eaton center is still there, but only the name itself. Everything else is changed. Perhaps the the original eaton owners need some discipline in managing business as well. -
I dont have a specific speed minimum, as long as it is suitable for trading. I probably going to test with current data brokers and see what happens, or have IB changed to HK"s server when in asia. Btw im trying to find out if trading away from their original future exchange would make it slower, or still acceptable. Of course I dont expect they have same speed, even though they travel in the speed of light. Since I havent done it often enough to see the differences if any, so any personal experience is useful. thanks.

You are right, i want to trade HK future and cme emini from north american as well as in hongkong, japan. From my understanding IB did say they update the quote in snapshot of a few times per second. I compare IB"s tick chart and others, such as esignal, and thinkorswim, they are different. Even the others didnt disclose how they update the data, so safe to assume they "tried" to show all tick, volume. The most important, my style works using the later 2's data when trading CME 's future. Perhaps you are right that they all "snapshot" one way or another, just the definition of snapshot is different.. I havent really compared the HK future using IB and others, since I dont trade it much. Maybe you are right since it has "less" volume compare to other. IB's way to delivery data might not be significantly different from others. Need to watch it for a while. Thanks for info, if you suddenly have another broker come up in your mind, let me know.
