Dear Rande Mitsubishi is correct. Your writing style is hard to follow. If I have to read a sentence twice,I am stupid. If I have to read a sentence three times ,you are .............not explaining yourself correctly. And I remember your collaboration with Zdo, the dialogue was the same. BUT Thats how psychologists are trained!!! So that makes your marketing job a struggle. People wonder what you are talking about. People wonder if they will understand your lessons. And remember three of your four previous participants ran away. The biggest hindrance to more business is lack of trading experience. Every trader asks how a non trader can teach traders. ME TOO. Its like telling me to sim trade. To gain credibility in your business.. YOU HAVE TO START TRADING Kind regards bobc PS Keep a journal PSS There are 100 hotshots on this forum who can help........no charge. PSSS Its the second most difficult profession in the whole world

OK RealDemo You are correct Too aggressive I am sorry Kind regards bobc

Hi RealDemo, Your comments are starting to worry me. I see you come from France. No problem. I think Iran is a real trouble maker. Do you think closing the Strait will help your trading? Do you think a nuclear Iran will help? And you are supporting Iran?? As a strong supporter of the USA, I think Homeland Security should have a careful look at you. bobc PS Part of my pension is invested in MTN, the 4th biggest share on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. MTN have a huge investment in Iran -they are the biggest Cellphone provider. Yesterday , MTN was knocked back 5% because of Iran trouble making. I think I lost about $20 000

Mathematics of Stops: Choose Your Desired Win Rate
bobcollett replied to Predictor's topic in Trading
Hi predictor I like your post And just to make sure I understand it............ In a random market, To achieve an 80% win rate, To win $5 , you need a stop of $20. The risk looks a bit lop sided? Correct? regards bobc PS If my understanding is correct, my next question is....... Who worked this out?- 30 replies

How Do You Know the Markets Aren't Random?
bobcollett replied to dangermouseb's topic in Technical Analysis
Hi Adrian, I support your view. Markets are not random. Just a thought on your roulette analogy What about money management?A simple double up system will give you a profit , with the ZERO removed. Kind regards bobc -
Taylor Trading Technique
bobcollett replied to Dogpile's topic in Swing Trading and Position Trading
You were right on Monday. The ALSI 40 is the index for the 40 biggest shares on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange It is similar to the DOW. But much more volatile. It usually moves about 500 points at $10 a point. If you know its a buy day , and you can take the heat of the pullbacks,it is very profitable. The only snag is the spread of about 15 points and 30 points afterhours. Today is a sell day. bobc
