I wonder what this is all about?

Hi SunTrader, I have always wondered how Barrick, operating in a First world country can have lower costs than South Africa,a third world country. Goldfield and Anglogold have always reported FULL costs and they have been severely discounted (.But their PEs are still too high.) I think Barrick is heading for a BIG fall. regards bobc

Sold at 1608 for 30 point profit. And I am sure I have left some money on the table. But tomorrow we have a Neptune Venus conjunction which is bad news for Gold and Silver.. So tomorrow could be the high with a big drop ahead into early March.. All the bears... get ready. regards bobc

Hi Paul I have enjoyed your three articles on "when" to trade , but am very skeptical. Have you actually back tested these times? Do you have some figures on success/failure? Or are you basing these times on experience? kind regards bobc

I would like to reopen this thread.I think it got lost in the ether. It is a bit hard to follow, but its offers some eye opening ideas on deduction Especially the ability to see patterns more easily than pure analysis. Thus the big TA following with charts And all those posters on "Dont be fooled by randomness" should have a look. regards bobc

Success is Very Difficult but Loosing is Very Easy

Hi Colonel B, That makes sense. Big stops ...... no emotion So whats wrong with that? I've learnt that trading with the trend requires small stops , and a positive re entry if you get stopped out. Selling short in an uptrend requires a big stop. The hard part is to identify the change in trend!!!! regards bobc
