  1. Gooni - CFDs. They are like futures but much less leveraged, which is good for beginners with low capital I guess. Last time I checked they were illegal in the US.

Hopefully I can start trading the real deal soon.

Looks like a CMC screenshot to me? I used to use them.

    Good trading.

  2. +275 again. Same amount as yesterday although a much better day. 4 winners in a row, and the 1 losing trade was actually a mistake. Bit of a mix up. Not to worry

edabreu. How do you get you account performance to show the pips? Mine seems to want to show me the percentage of my account i made/lost on each trade..?...thanks

  3. Just out of curiosity, has anyone who has not attained the level of profitability they would like (i.e. still learning), actually observed a so-called profitable trader trade?

And by that I mean maybe having the opportunity to observe someone trade live for at least a month, making many trades over and over?

Yes, the poster above you, Grey1.

Even though he often seems to be in conflict with some other members whom I respect (thalestrader and brownsfan) the fact is that he trades very well. Consistently profitable, as seen with my own eyes.

Grey used to trade live in a chatrooom that he ran for free and called out live trades every trading day for a few months (as well as some free 'seminars' which i have on my PC somewhere).

However, I do believe that despite what Grey says, one can be consistently profitable with TA alone.

  4. quick one on the euro again before i leave for work. Probably last day at this job today, so will be able to concentrate on the market properly again for a little while until i decide what to do next, 'work wise'.

  5. Been away from this thread for about a week. Am working a normal temporary job for a little while up until about Christmas so haven't really been trading much, although I've been checking in, and see that Brownsfan woud ave been blowing me out of the water if i had have been posting, so maybe its a good thing!! lol. Well done.

Managed 3 trades this morning. All winners. +52 pips.

Lucky to spot my setups in this small trading window before work starts soon.

    Well done guys.

  6. Is this autotrading or does it alert you to trades?

I dont a know a thing about programming etc and how to develop an 'autotrader' (which sounds cool!), but ive got it coded as an indicator which just gives me a red or green arrow.

I Only use it on the ES. Dont have that much live testing on it as you can see from the graph - its done OK for the last 3 months though...i use it alongside my more discressionary trading on oil and the currencies.

  7. +$310

bit more like it, (even though for what seems like a regular event at the moment, I started my day off with 4 losers in a row!)

probably stopping for the day here, although my ES system has had 2 days of Breaking even, so I imagine he may be due a nice day. We'll see....

Here's his current live performance (along with todays blotter)

  8. +73

tough one again. Not much enjoying the alternating green/red days im experiencing at the moment. Done some number crunching and im ending up each week still, but a drop in performance is always dissapointing i guess...

  9. Started off really bad with 4 losing trades! I thought it was gonna be a brutal day for me but it turned round enough to get me green. Here's the trade numbers in pips:

    -8, -12, -16, -13 , 19, -12, 28, 18, -14, 20, 12, -15, -15, 20, 6, 22

  10. No blotter. Down $300 ish. Not good. Couldn't get in the zone today. Still seem to be doing OK on a weekly basis so not panicking yet but my 'hot streak' has definitely died down.

    On to tomorrow.

    Cheers.
