  1. Theoretically, this makes sense.

But it may not work with low capital... ?

The reason the world's population of 'wealthy' people is so small is because there is only so much wealth to go around and those that find it don't want to share the secrets necessarily. It took hard work to get there [usually].

Well, I just think an interesting question, if I can know Mr. Buffet’s buying (if I had a telescope or a computer hacking program or insider), then I buy what he buy, can I become a millionaire? (of course, billionaire is even better!) If it is the truth, then following a successful person can guarantee my success shall be a norm. But why the world the portion of successful people is still so small? Have a fun and good luck.

  2. Hey, I don't think many trade INR USD, however you can maybe tell us the benefits of trading INR USD?

    And tips?

    Which broker do you use?

I guess very few TL members follow or trade in INR USD Currency. This thread is created to get the TL members view on the INR USD Currency from both ling term and short term (trading) point of view.

Anyone out there for INR USD ????

  3. Hello everyone,

I happened to stumble on this forum and I think this is an awesome forum with alot of shared experiences.

I am from Singapore, work as equity dealer and trade binaries primarily.

I *think* I know how to trade, however i have very very bad money management. In my recent history, I have turned $300 into $10,000 in a matter on 30 working days, and i have also more in a single trading day.

I would like to gain a mentor of sort so as to refine and sharpen my skills. Cheers.

    tenfold

    Hi,

Wow how did you turn $300 to $10000 ? Lucky rides? :) or a system or ?

  4. Generalized advice - finish school.

Let the markets be a 'separate' part of your life. Devote some time to them each day or week... like you do 'playing' or 'chasing women' or whatever...

Having an education, from my experience, helps down the road. You never know what happens in the 'markets'!

And you can have a good job while playing in the markets

  5. Hi all,

This is my first post here although I've read through many threads over the

    last few months.

It appears to me that trading problems are being catagorized as either a

Discipline problem or a Psycholgy issue. As an example I am sure everyone

is familiar with is not placing a protective stop.

Now, Is this a Discipline problem or is it a mental issue or both ???

It seems that often the psychology / mental issues lead to a breakdown of discipline.

It all starts with the mental games...!

  6. I am knowledgeable in the area of finance, but I am still in college and not sure what to pursue. I have taken intro accounting, managerial finance, trade finance, intro finance and banking, investing and intro CIS courses at my city college. My latest semester, which ended a week ago, I took 5 of those classes in the same semester while I followed the equity and forex markets. My finance and banking teacher told me you will not learn more than you would in this class if you were to take it at Harvard, and I believe it. A lot of people had difficulty taking the class and the text covered a lot. Long story short all I have to look forward to is non finance classes at city college, I just need some advice on what should I do, should I focus on college and the markets (not going to take 5 classes again) or get a job so I can make moves in the markets.:missy:

    Hi Zach,

It's always good to finish college. What is your long term goal? What type of jobs would you like to see yourself doing in 10-15 years? How old are you right now?
