Nice article. I totally agree with you. The problem is most traders think they're smarter than the system so they develop a "mental system". For example when the system says take profit at 15 pips they'll say "Nah, the market can go another 5 pips". That's actually greed talking and greed is traders' number 1 enemy yet most traders' don't realize it. Just my 2 cents

I've learned this trading system, it's like breakout+swing trading.The swing would last about 2-3 days. Risk reward 1:2. I like it because it's fully mechanical and the profit taking is 2 times the risk. What do you think? Sorry i'm a newbie and my english is not too good.

I will choose take profit unless you're a seasoned trader and positive enough where the market is going.

Risking 2% from your capital is acceptable i think. 5% is ok if you're a veteran but i won't go for 10%. Capital prevention comes first IMHO.
