This may be a dense question: But what are the settings for this? What triggers the signals? Thanks, and good work by the way.
-
I'd focus on trading profitably and mastering your craft....then work for yourself. The freedom (and the money) you will gain is far far more than anyone could give you as an employee;senior trader or not. But hey I hear prop firms are the way to go when starting up, since you can use their capital....but I am talking out of my butt mostly since I have no experience-simply hearsay. Best of luck.

What are the best technical indicators to daytrade YM?
Reaver replied to sudha78's topic in Beginners Forum
LOL you must have some big roaches! I'm down here in Florida, and my Boris Schlossberg book handles even the biggest ones down here! -
Yes, frankly- it sucks. It just freezes up for no reason whatsoever. All the browsers (IE/Firefox) will just sh*t the bed for no reason for 5-10 minutes. Brand new computer Dual Core, all that jazz.

That NQooos dude freaks me out.
-
Exactly. By the way are you paying James for your advertising t4P? There is a ton of info here for free, and if what you're looking for isn't actually here, there are some great guys (and gals) that will get you pointed in the right direction.

heh heh, now there's an idea.... You could be the Timothy Leary of trading!
-
Are you in combat or daytrading? If no, then are you under the influence when you make any decisions? If no, then I wouldn't worry about it. I don't do it, but it's not that big of a deal. No worse than drinking as far as performance goes, IMO.

I'm with you there, buddy. That actually explains why I have been gone so much...I took it to the next level of isolation! How's it going Chris?
-
I still stand by this statement....not too bad, but hey nothing's perfect.
-
Right on Chris. I just fall back on the ol' military days and it just clicks into place automatically (most of the time) though I'd like to learn more about NLP, etc...

How much depth does the book go into for developing a trading plan?

I definitely am still a fan of momentum trading. Check out Chick Goslin's books.

Soul, I've demo'd around with NT and it's really sharp. You can set up all kinds of strategies and conditional orders. The support is very quick in my experience too. NT staff is very willing to answer any questions I've had. Hope that helped. By the way, the trader metrics analysis they have is really cool too.

futuresblaster- Non affiggere la carne suina in scatola su quest'asse. It's from a free translation site online, but I can help out if you need explanation. This is a quality forum and it's going to stay that way.
-
ha ha I was about to say, if it was your company, then why are you holding out on laptops to your brothers here at the Lab!!?? HA HA Take care buddy
-
ha ha I knew that was coming Tin! Thanks for the answers yall. I am gonna swing by one of the computer shops...I went to one yesterday but the guy was like "uuuhhh yeah you probably need a new motherboard"...but I wanted a second opinion because soldering seems logical, or of course getting a MAC. HA HA
-
My dell inspiron 600m just crapped the bed on me..the charger apparently broke from the motherboard.... Does anyone know what my options are? lol this sucks! I'd really rather not have to buy a new computer right now, but at the same time I don't want to have to pay out the nose for a motherboard on a 2 yr old computer either just to be able to have it charge right....any ideas or suggestions? Tin, I think this is where you chime in and tell me to get a mac. lol

Markets in Profile: Profiting from the Auction Process
Reaver replied to Gordon G.'s topic in Market Profile
I thought it came out in Feb.... -
Hey just to make sure the bases are covered, are you positive the card information authorized and posted from your account? Don actually called me the same day I signed up and usually responds within a day to my emails. That is really weird, so he's not responding to emails either? Are you using ciscofutures@hotmail.com?
-
I like the site as is. It is refreshing to have something so easy on the eyes to read at the end of the day. Nice simple and efficient. Perfect. I'll think if there's any particular features or whatever that comes tomind, but James, you've done an awesome job and this is definitely my favorite site.
-
Hey sorry about that, I responded, but I accidentally edited your message instead of quoting you...but yeah I was just going to ask a) are you still having this issue? b) did you give him a call? Sorry about the mixup, didn't want you to think I was ignoring you, it was just a mistake on my part.:o
