I just need to see how good is IB tick data so if anyone have historical CL data ( year or two ) in ASCI format please post it here thanks
-
OK ..I understand that RT tick chart is diferent because IB 0.2 sec snapshot data but when I request history tick chart from IB in MC ...what would I get ? true tick chart as it should be, or something other ? I am asking this because I am not sure... can I test anything on IB history tick charts and expect similar results when it goes live ? in other words ...If I trade on IB tick data ....what data should I use for backtesting and building my system ?

I have account at IB, and I don't think IB can colapse ... but IB keep their money at Citigroup .... what if Citigroup colapse ? would I still have my money ?
-
thanks this really helps me alot and how would you code if I want take only opposite orders after profit target
-
maybe I was no clear enough because of my bad english ...sorry so how can I code this: after profit target occurs, system can take only opposite direction orders or better than last exit in same direction so if I was long and I get profit target at 100, next order I will take is only short or long but below 100 ...lets say 99 thanks
-
how can I code that after profit target ocurs, system take only oposite direction orders or better that exit so if I was long and I hit profit target at 100 , next order I will take is short or long but blow 100 ..say 99 thanks
-
