  1. I like the distance between small emas and ema 200.... suggests momentum on the market...
  2. HI Cooter, obviously we will see his reply on this.... my opinion on that 200 ema is that it helps to show the overall larger trend plus a clear reading of momentum as his smaller emas are quite far from ema 200... wich suggests the market its trending.... if his small emas get to near the 200 ema we know market is sleeping.... mkp : you said cci is on input 500... seems is set to 50 is it ? wich would be more logic on 55T... cheers Walter.
  3. Nice charts Backrob... What would be the diference between the standard money flow and the RB moneyflow ? thanks Walter.
  4. Nice clean chart Mkp... can you tell exactly all indicators and inputs? please keep posting, this is a very nice argument to work on,posting will help you a lot and we will keep interacting.... cheers Walter.
  5. I am scalper by definition... now since I am on TL thanks to cooter, brown and others I have been expanding my horizon to make runners give me some special edge on my RRR... and be able to some times get out with some points... thanks guys for your inputs on all threads.... cheers Walter.
  6. neastaju : yes ¡¡ this aproach can be adapted to any time frame and type of trading.... medium/ long term... I presented the idea as a scalper I am but can perfectly be adjusted to the more long term trader.... feel free to add charts with the strategy applied to longer terms, would love to see how other people can use the overall concept in diferent time frames... cheers Walter.
  7. Late on the day we had a series of flips .... this ones are exactly with the level nuance... forming pivot at outerbands, flips at mid band... So far I find the most reliable setup with forming pivots at the outerbands... I am also experimenting diferent timing posibilities at the price pane... so far a very nice combination is the least square ma 6 (yellow) with a simple ma 7 (light grey)... their crossover can be used for timing.... cheers Walter.
  8. Me : option 1... cheers Walter. pd : new entry would be complete new setup...
  9. O Lord ¡¡¡ it breaked... but with 40 minutes long... could we consider that long enough to say it was "super coil"....??? I marked entry an exit that could be used.... with white keltner position is still open as I write this post... cheers Walter.
  10. I have to make clear that this thread is not related to "flip" trades, its about a complete diferent setup, its about "Super Coil Breaks" ... thanks to Brown and other people here I am following the entire session... so on my siesta I will monitor for "super coils".... so far we are having a 30 min coil... that is price inside my small keltners on a 55Tick chart from russell a 100 exp 2.5 atr keltner (white)... very slow market... if this continues another 30 minutes I would start to consider it a "super coil" if not there is no setup... we will see.... cheers Walter.
  11. And here is todays second one (paper).... chart looks so similar to the first one... I like that "Momentum levels" it gives me good ods to enter on strength climate... my runner is something to add here on my exit strategy... I will use that runner only on momentum levels flips.... so far so good... cheers Walter.
  12. contemporary easy listening... mayor scales... promotes the good mood... puts you on the positive zone... so far hearing this italian soul fusion.... souldavid | amorestereo cheers Walter.
  13. As this week starts, I feel "Flip" more part of me, so since today I am trading this live... So far I think I got a clear argument with clear entry rules, stop rules and exit rules.... The "momentum level" nuance so far has given the best trades to select from so many oportunities... So far today we had one nice momentum flip... first we got an outerband pivot, then a small break and FLIP... got in on a ZLR fashion... scaled out a scalper exit with HFE 2/3 position and closed entire rest at the 0 line cross... Personally on live I am done for today... but will paper trade the rest off the session.. cheers Walter.
  14. Mail : you want to check the "flip" trade thread, its mainly a scalping technique... so far works nice.... ES maybe has too small range to scalp, should you consider Russell or YM for this purposes... cheers Walter.
  15. Want to add another chart from fridays super coil and make a comentary of two clear characteristics that make a "super coil"... 1_ Loooooong period going nowhere..... (in this case 100 minutes) 2_ Always cycling inside smaller keltners... "Super Coils" are easy to recognize, it just takes patience.... and they dont happen every day.... cheers Walter.
  16. ooops... on esignal at least... to be a tick there has to be a trade... I can agree that ticks could represent very diferent amount of real volume, but ticks without trades.... nop
  17. Great MX ¡¡ let me tell you that YOU are the open minded here and I have great respect for your great actitude.. I think there is a great improvement here and I like to refresh Elliot... Its the core morfology for any serious fibonacci analist... Did you calculate what price level should hit the 161.8% proyeccion ? would be nice to have it... cheers Walter.
  18. Hi Momentom : in this such large coil, you can expect big explosions on the break and many times there simply is no pullback to give you an entry... so crossing these keltner level should do it.... on a regular coil... yes, I would suggest taking the pullback wich would actually be a flip... in terms of cci 50 I am not following it... but the sinonimous reading would be with keltner... should I remind that cci oscillator 0 line works like a detrended average, so levels 100 and 200 would be equivalent to bands by x atr`s... cheers Walter.
  19. Hi Malvado, I am glad we interact in a civilized technicall realm, sometimes "maybe" the semantics can sugest some rudness but here at TL we are very franc on our opinion and try to make it constructive.... I have one doubt on the first chart where you count with the red lines the wave 3 doesnt take the high of wave 2... wich is I think incorrect... to validate a wave, it should swing the previous ending pivot of prior wave... I attach what I believe would be the overall count if we have to swing the first wave 1.... please tell me what you think, I am not elliotican, did take course from elliotwave.com some years ago.... cheers Walter.
  20. Yes Brown, the entry was when it got out of the first keltner and let me tell you after 75 minutes of coil (super coil ) its worth the risk... because you have a great potencial being build up for the break, the longer the coil the more explosive the break.... vs a very tight stop below the resistance.... as you can see some times this type of strategies can work very well because they have embeded a very good RRR on it... so its worth the try... I cant say, I wont take a breakout trade because there are false breakouts... would not be that smart on this type of scenario when we had not a coil but a "super coil".... this one was live with 30 contracts and when out all together at the first exit signal wich worked for 9.4k... its the only type of trade besides my M`s I am willing to take inside the day, must confess I havent trade this setup for months... I did repent not to take live the flip that happen after that.... its still on beta lol.... Again the nuance is : The longer the coil, the more explosive the break... Cheers Walter.
  21. Actually there are two diferent setups there : one is a "Super Coil Break" wich has a trend following type exit.... and the other one is a "Flip" Trade wich on the chart I show the scalpers exit (normal exit) and given the super momentum conditions I showed a trend following exit too... The trend following exits are when we get back inside the keltner bands... I ONLY take this type of exits when market climate has super momentum (taking way off the keltner outerbands).... hope this clarifies the charts... actually they belong to two diferent threads... cheers Walter.
  22. Nice Robert ¡¡ without any compromise, would you share your money flow eld here at TL ? would really apreciate that.... cheers Walter.
  23. This evening is delivering some nice momentum.... a nice momentum flip has been clearly formed... in terms of exit as we have a momentum climate I would keep a runner above the white keltner band.... cheers Walter.
  24. Do you get like this  when the market is like this  ???? Well you know what... that type of market may anticipate a great bussiness oportunity... let me call it "Super Coil Break"... a trade designed for people who follow all the session... unfortunaltely I am becoming that people jejeje... well this trade demands first : patience and then a very simple timing entry technique... with a trend following method where you can get the most of the move... As you can notice this is not a scalper method... we can add some nuances to this trade later.... cheers Walter.
