  1. yes Agustin ¡¡ it doesnt get any better than that... on the vmar trend scalps thread you can now see how I am interacting with Unicorn arround this ccit3 oscillators for timing, even on the 5 min as well... I believe we got a great edge as Vma`s do give thru vmars or our nice three lines a great context for great centrifugal and centripetal crystal clear setups... then timing we will evolve to the most optimized version.. be it with ccit3`s or vma`s ..we will see... thanks for interacting Agustin, I am picking up momentum on my research thanks to all the inputs you all guys are giving here... cheers The Chimp.
  2. I like what I see Unicorn... I see you are a fast learner ¡¡ I also like to see how nice you are blending the "vmar icons" setups with the timing method of "vma trend scalps" ... this two ccit3`s work very nice, they do an excellent timing job... After todays videos on your charts I had been researching on the performance of how would this ccit3`s on the 5 min chart could also be used to time trades right on the 5 min chart as well... Basicly we could have two timing alternatives here... we could time ourselves right on the 5 min chart with the oscillators or time on the 1 min as explained so far... Now whats the edge on both : _edge of taking timing on 5 min : less noise. _edge of taking timing on 1 min : more specific spots. so lets see your charts now taking this possible timing concepts into acct : certainly very nice trades ¡¡... now a question Unicorn : your external cyan and black lines you got there, can you tell me exactly what are they and what inputs do the have ? thanks Unicorn for this great interaction.. I think you brought me back on track to the riches of vmar`s... I had been doing so much paralel research lately that kinda lost the vision of such great stuff we already got here... keep them coming... I am full time on this Unicorn, if I didnt respond quick is because I may be taking some happyhour distention.... cheers Walter.
  3. Thanks for the clarification Unicorn... For the sake of simplicity and in order to use all my time resources on the research of "optimized contexts for centrifugal and centripetal setups" I will not be using other oscillator than chimp oscillator and ccit3 as I had found them on the level of "enough optimum performance" for their asigned tasks... I apreciate a lot all this inputs, only I dont want to get off track.... cheers Walter.
  4. I will try to keep updated on examples Cattus, so the idea can get even more clear on the mind... so far I like to get focused at one pair, so the research process doesnt get so congested... cheers Walter.
  5. thanks unicorn for input, question: this one does not repaint ? thanks Walter.
  6. so far it is 40 and 4... names are mixted... sorry about that... little messy research on here... Cattus : since your inputs about timeframes, I had been looking arround a 60 min against a 5 min thats 1/12th relation between timeframes... it could call for more robust scalps at 5 min (still good lifestyle issues under control) with a very solid trend definition at 60 min in this case using a rainbow for good momentum determination... Must confess we have so many combinations with vma`s and I am working almost 14 hours per day testing combinations... we will get to the best one... I just dont want to loose interaction with you guys, thats why I started this last thread, dont want to loose momentum on the interaction process as I am learning together with all of you... thanks so much for inputs... even when they turn out "maybe" futile... its 1 lamp test less Edison tested 3000 bulbs until success... even thought he was deaf.. so I find refreshing all your interactions... About oscillators Cattus, ccit3 its the first on my list after extensive research... chimp looks good for cycle recognition, not timing... we keep this process ongoing... One thing somehow its finished for me.. its the "setuping" issues with the centrifugal and centripetal setups... thats a finished topic for me... what context of indicators and time frames, I believe there is more to be done on optimization... one nice frase from Edison : "Genius is one percent inspiration, ninety-nine percent perspiration." - Thomas Alva Edison here is a nice link about him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Edison very nice inspiration from this guy... cheers Walter.
  7. Thanks a lot HS ¡¡ its nice to see this good will from you... cheers Walter.
  8. I also see Tin you had previously a nice flip with a beautifull hammer/ doji there... cheers Walter.
  9. It plots historically that way, but on real time he is no better than ccit3 wich I find good if you wanted to time on 5 minutes... So far for cycle detection chimp is ok, if you wanted to time the inflections on 5 min ccit3 its about one of the best oscillator for that... I post later on that issue... cheers Walter.
  10. Its an excellent excersise Unicorn for me and for you, and also for all of us to go thru this charts... It has been sometime since I was not looking at rainbows because of the new thread, but rainbows have a terrific edge of showing very clear momentum conditions... I believe all the aproaches have their particular edge... cheers Walter.
  11. very good questions Unicorn ¡¡ I believe this is one of the great keys for success, and it is the capacity of good momentum discernment... did you go thru the video series on momentum discernment ? let me answer this one with a video... I first take cofee... cheers Walter.
  12. I thought I answered on the chart... but lets answer again : q1: yes the bar you marked looks good for a magenta line rejection q2: looks like there where less activity, but on forex cash there probably where some banks changing some millons... so doesnt mean there wasnt liquidity there... q3: unfortunately I use mt4 and there is no 3 min chart time frame... yes 3 min could be interesting... let me share a chart where you can see our actual centrifugal and centripetal setups on a rainbow with ccit3 for timing (could be timed even on 5 min chart)... liet motif its always the same... its about rejecting or refreshing the axis... wich indicators yo want to use, I believe we have a great amount of alternatives... But basicly the chimp is always doing just about the same, or he is rejecting an axis or he is going back to the axis... cheers Walter.
  13. uups... re-painting issues on the fisher oscillator as well... lol :frustrated: :frustrated:
  14. good stuff Unicorn ¡¡ keep them coming... cheers Walter.
  15. About the Fisher Oscillator I did some testings so far and the lime / magenta dots have re-painting issues, making them non reliable... as to the oscillator himself, he doesnt have any re-painting issues and I must confess he is a nice decent oscillator... will keep testing him... I understand he is based on Ehlers work about the fisher transform algorithm... thanks Agustin for this inputs... cheers Walter.
  16. jejeje... yes Bruce, its certainly a Hidden Gem ¡¡ at least Paul Levine left that very nice educational material wich creates a very nice base to start from... Now remeber to use hat man ... jejeejje... cheers Walter.
  17. I think that they are not vwaps... they probably are volme weighted MA`s... wich is something diferent... any way thanks homestudy for your input, cheers Walter.
  18. Oh ok ¡¡ the scalps... yes, the scalps.... from there was somehow the evolution to the latest aproach that uses the chimp oscillator.... any way that is a nice sweet set of indicators... thats for shure... cheers Walter.
  19. Yes, it is posible... would it be those indicators on 5 min chart ?
  20. Ok Serge... we are having a beautifull almost summer day here ¡¡ will do some barbeque ... cheers Walter.
  21. We all know that eventually we could have all our "setuping" and "timing" lines just in a one minute chart... Now as I wanted to explain where do all this centrifugal and centripetal setups came from, and what are the intrinsic concepts behind them, it was much more didactic to show them on a 5 min chart... you can perfectly translate the spirit of a 1 hour trend and the medium trend of a 5 min chart all into a 1 min chart alone... but we can start doing that when we all feel we really grasped the base concepts... for example ( I dont want to get anybody confused here, just an example)... look at this 1 min chart how we can translate lines from a 5 min chart all together... so eventually it could be done... cheers Walter.
  22. Hey Bruce I had a rocking Saturday ¡¡¡ pure enjoyment ¡¡ so I am on my total energies for this trading week.. My Lord ¡¡¡ cheers The Happy Chimp.
  23. Unicorn : >>>Q1: what do you mean "you can grow on volume"?>>> Millons of dollars on your individual acct.. >>>Q2: what do the 5 digits refer to? >>>> U$ xx.xxx so on forex 8 digits is : U$ xx.xxx.xxx :) cheers Walter.
  24. On this aproach no cci`s I only use cci`s for futures scalping... now we are using the chimp oscillator on the new thread wich is not a cci... If you wanted to trade a rejection of the 5 min magenta line, I would suggest to time your entries on the 1 min chart with the vmar3 template rainbow... no timings on 5 min... cheers Walter.
  25. Bruce... normally vwaps start at the begining of the session and end at the end of a session... so for forex it could have a 24 hour span starting at 00:00 hour and finishing at 23:59 ... There is also a very interesting method that was developed by Paul Levine, where he would actually start the vwaps from a choosen pivot and the lines actually where not intended to be that long... in this case there is no bands... The "multiple" vwaps from x key pivots would give incredible perfect pitch levels of rejections... dynamic Support and Resistance... the method did not have to much popularity as Paul passed away, but its truly a gem himself... I attach a zip with some of his publishings... very interesting stuff... I would say this is a vwap method where the vwap starts at predefined points (hand choosen key pivots) and creates dynamic superb Support and Resistance levels... Maybe Bruce we should forgett a little bit the SD stuff and just concentrate on the vwap research at this point... do you want me to start a new thread for an open research on vwap ?.... cheers Walter.
