  1. I am very strict with my universal stop system... no questions... that gives me psicological freedom... If I started to put relativity to my stop system I would be already on a mental institution... and then it whent my way... lol, thats this bussiness, it can be hard at times, but having loyalty to a rule is the path to freedom... no hard feelings, bussiness still at the end treats me ok... my two cents Tin.. cheers The Chimp.
  2. and read all the chimp`s threads ¡¡ jejejej... cheers Walter.
  3. And a video on this beautifull day... now I will relax a little bit... see ya soon.. cheers Walter. PD : Would love to see others charts ¡¡ Nice day ¡¡.swf
  4. And then this nice Icon followed by a magenta reject continuation... and as I am doing this post... another small pretty Icon.. cheers Walter.
  5. Hello dear fellow traders... today US session started with a wonderfull cycle action... forming a very nice coil, then breaked coil and had an iconic formation for a very nice trade... certainly a very nice way to start the day... notice the posible larger exit with the green crossing the black line... cheers Walter.
  6. So about this larger exits, it is an alternative for those who wish to trade with this tools but on a not so scalped way... I personally like to scalp in and scalp out, but this is an alternative I thought we should have in mind for the other type of traders... In this case I will be referring to a centrifugal trade, after crossing the magenta line, and an Icon formation, the trader opens a position... from there on he establishes the magenta line as his only exit, be it a stop or be it profitable... this combo may ofer a very good RRR as he will be inside of very nice large moves... on a very cycle day he will have to asume several stops when the scalper actually took profits... some examples : I would personally never trade that way, as its not my style of trading, but thought the idea could come handy for those who like to stay more time in on a trade... cheers Walter.
  7. Hi Unicorn... 55t can work ok as well... 89 may be a little to long already for my taste, but thats me... some other people like to trade more larger timeframes... The tactics are basicly the same... centrifugal and centripetal setups, the centrifugal are iconic type of setups and the centripetal are M`s type of setups... just that... you can see the "setuping" on the price pane with one of the many rainbows alternatives of most confort and the "timing" can be done with hulls, vma`s or oscillators... Thats a very concise resume of the chimps general aproach... on the next posts I will be dealing with a nice larger trailing exit that the rainbows suggest, giving a non-scalper alternative to shoot for more profits on a`trade... I am baking some bread right now.... post soon... cheers Walter.
  8. Hi Sunnyside (I like your nickname ¡¡)... its a great truth the 50/50... you have to be VERY GOOD plus some luck if you get to 60/40 ... so the RRR its a basic fundamental strategy for any trader... I remember my first post here on TL was about that jejeje... maybe you readed that one... But basicly stops should be tight and normal average exits (even on scalping )should have at least a 1:2 ratio... some times on scalping that comes down to 1:1.5 but the ideal is 1:2 .... now outside from scalping if you get above 1:3 you are in good shape... nice topic you bring back here Sunnyside... cheers Walter.
  9. Glad you like it Armand... those actually where live jejej... I will keep posting on this ones... they are very easy to trade... Nice chart Jim... I like how ES is doing lately, very nice performance, can you keep us posted on this ?.. very good stuff... cheers Walter.
  10. Yesterday crude oil made another record high... almost $100 per barrel... clear sintoms of peak oil ? cheers Walter.
  11. Thats good Jim, keep that up ¡¡ here you have an explanation on how to upload charts http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/f30/how-to-post-a-chart-properly-805.html will love to see yours on ES... I attach a video about coil breaks followed by icon-flip formations... cheers Walter. Coil Breaks.swf
  12. Another classic trade I do on futures is when the market shifts from a cycle into a prospect momentum condition... I call that a coil break that normally becomes an "Icon -Flip" type formation... Looking today with the new second alternative graphic context and it shows quite clear this formations... The coil gets formed with multiple crosses of the green to the magenta line, we mark horizontal lines on the extreme of this cycle, creating the coil : When that coil gets breaked with strenght, wich means not just a little break, but a strong nice break we may consider the cycle condition is in jeopardy, calling for a prospect momentum condition... after that you have our classic Icon and Flip formations... with a pullback that doesnt go any higher (inside the coil) than 1 third the inner range of the coil.. the ideal its outside the coil... so here some real live examples from today : Thats a nice way to trade icons right on the non-momentum to momentum condition shift... take it easy... cheers Walter.
  13. Hi Jim... here goes the new one... cheers Walter. ADXVMA_v1[1].1.zip FXST3CCI_0[1].8.zip Chimp Futures scalps 2.zip
  14. Thanks Bruce for your feedback ¡¡ its much apreciated... sometimes I feel I may be confusing people here... on the other hand I feel showing at least the 50% of my research openly may help others and give me a chance to interact and grow as well... Consistency on the core concepts its one of the things I will try never to loose... alternatives on the presentations are vast ¡¡ I am glad Bruce to hear about this performances on your trading ¡¡ feel free to post some charts if you wish... I am so greatfull for your great programing contributions on vma ¡¡ without that we couldnt had evolved as we did... cheers Walter.
  15. HI Richard... and once again welcome aboard ¡¡ Here we have a topic called "forex broker type"... I learned here on TL when I started to look into forex that there are "Forex Bucketshops" and there are "Forex ECN`s"... wich is very diferent the impact on your trading, from what you mention in terms of wide spreads and some non conveniant non-tight numbers... So far I am experimenting with a ecn type broker at efx... very competitive spreads and costs as well... Bruce (Pyenner) just mentioned his scalping tendencies and taking small risk... I am also on a very similar situation... tight stops... with the right broker you may want to consider a max 3 pips below your pivot... If you will trade larger timeframes like sundowner is doing, you can have a little more tolerance, maybe up to 6 pips below the pivot, but we must understand he is also working with much larger targets... hope this brings some answers... cheers Walter.
  16. Right here http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/24/walter-s-forex-vma-trend-scalps-2558-5.html on post 42 there is a nice video wich uses also vmar in combination with cci for scalping... just in case you didnt see it, its worth it, for refreshing some same concepts... I also do strongly recomend de video series on momentum discernment, wich helps a lot into discerning the right momentum condition into your trading... The above charts can also be used for scalping forex as well... for example some charts of EUR/JPY 11T chart... nice cool trades... can you do 10 pips per day ? I keep posting tomorrows ym scalps as well... can you do 10 ticks per day ? cheers Walter.
  17. Thanks Michal ¡¡ I am very glad you like it... this is a very near thread to my live trading world... Certainly it is a blessing to have such a team ¡¡ great talents, great people ¡¡ I wish for each of them Millons of dollars on a regular basis... cheers Walter.
  18. Here is a video on this other variation... its the most near to my normal trading... what I like its how clear the "setuping" is on the price pane thanks to the vma`s and rainbow... cheers Walter. Scalping with rainbow and cci.swf
  19. correct Jim ¡¡.... to old move... already did 3 waves up, should make a pause, not a competitive place to take a long... now if momentum shows its face that was a good entrance, BUT cycle is the norm, momentum the exception... cheers Walter.
  20. Good question Jim ¡¡... I normally dont have a signal line on my cci for my trading... on this new indicator that Sparrow translated into NT we have this alternative, so far I am experimenting if I could use them for a very quick scalp exit... those type of exits where you dont want to wait until the cero cross... I never mastered ES  I find the range to small into my expectations... very used to more volatile futures, originally I was a Russell trader, then migrated to YM and very confortable with it.... It would be nice if you post ES charts with this aproach... love to interact that way... cheers Walter.
  21. If you guys go thru some of my futures threads I posted links on the first post of this thread, you will get familiarized with my timing method using cci for my live trading... Basicly I enter trades with the +-50 level crosses and exit on 0 line cross.. very simple, very effective... On this case I would be looking a "setuping" with the visual context of the vma research and use some old traditional timing sistem... here are some examples on how I would take this scalp trades : I hope I dont confuse anybody.... the chimp has a costume of showing lots of alternatives, that may help you find your "confort" graphic context... SOME QUESTIONS I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOME FEEDBACK HERE : can you see the SAME concepts behind this variations ? do you notice that the chimp may show you a lot of diferent visual context alternatives but he shows you the same concepts always ? cheers Walter.
  22. Now let me present you guys another variation of this... This variation its more near to my normal timing methodology with cci, wich I am too used to trade and really dont feel the need to change it as it has been giving me permanent stable results over time... Now on the price pane I had been experimenting a three line type chimp thing... similar to this method here http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/f24/the-chimp-s-forex-trades-2698.html and a little rainbow fusion for some nice momentum readings... looks like this : the three lines have a net and refresh trend relationship between them, calling for centrifugal and centripetal setups... on next post some examples... cheers Walter.
  23. Thanks a lot Blu-Ray for this codes ¡¡ its nice to have this TS programing from your part... thanks again, Walter.
  24. NIce chart Sundowner... are you following this ? how is it going ? cheers Walter.
  25. So far this week, NT forex data on 5 min its working ok...
