  1. 1. you won't get LED that's refurbed. LED monitor is still new. 2. Why do you want refurb ??? There is a reason it was a refurb !!! 3. don't go for HD... HD means vertical resolution is 1080 -- ok for video, but not good enough as a charting monitor. (unless you don't have much details in your charts) 4. who cares about LED (yet)? the fluorescent tube will outlast your monitor, and the energy saving won't cover the additional cost.

to some, trading is an obsessive compulsive disease, no different from drugs, alcohol, or gambling. (or sex to Tiger). Once you are hooked, there is no escape until the house and wife are gone.

  16. if you write out your thoughts one line at a time... (instead of a blurb) you might be able to see your code hidden in there.
  17. forget about backtesting... that's an idea from the last century. It is only good for high level concept proofing, not tick level testing. for code verifications, you have to do forward testing.

  20. The choice of software is a very personal one; each has its own strengths, and quarks. Most of the programs have free trials... you can test them out at your leisure. Ninja is free... you can use it for as long as you like. The only time you pay is if you use it to autotrade. TradeStation is free if you use them as a broker. MultiCharts, etc., has a 30 days trial. If you do not have a programming background, I would suggest you to stay with EasyLanguage compatible programs.
  21. William Rafter's Miving Trend is based on regression line. you can get the code here: http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/f46/moving-trend-6563.html 230.135
