getting me to say a yes answer has no correlation to you getting to the salvation. You still have the same doubts you have, even if the heaven opens up to you. all the explanations are in the thread. You can get it from the horse' mouth. if you have specific questions, post the specific question in the thread. Don't beat around the bush. that's a very imaginative manipulation. if you for a moment think that is even a remote possibility, why bother to ask the question at all? It leads to nowhere.
-
you were being evasive... LOL
-
It is either you are naive, or you think that I am naive. tell me, what would an answer lead you? (either a yes or no answer) why are you twisting and evading and manipulating and avoiding my question ???
-
Let's be very clear, that was neither a simple question, nor an intelligent one. what if I say "yes"? what if I say "no"? where does that lead you? when you have a preconceived answer before you even asked the question, why ask?

your subconscious mind is very smart... it can figure out the conflicts and inconsistencies in your strategy, the ones that you are not consciously aware of. your subconscious mind is trying to protect you, holding you back when it detects unresolved issues. get a piece of paper and start writing down your logic... if you can computerize it, you will have your problem solved. if you can't ... mmm... you are the only one who can understand why.
-
it seems to me that you already have the answer before you even asked the question.
-
many people felt your pain too.

a method that creates doubts in your mind will never work for you, even if it is beneficial to others. there are more than one way to skin a cat. it is more productive to seek a method or style of trading that brings comfort and assurance to your mind. p.s. regarding the daily "U" shape, I don't think you have got the story correct. Look up "pace" in the thread.

I was stupid twice and lucky once. that's the story of my life. the one lucky time covered every mistake, plus more.

yes.... that works. thanks !

the best "predictor" indicator is volume. see more discussions here: http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/f34/price-volume-relationship-6320.html

the most powerful weapon against an idiot is "ignore".
-
I hope you will find it useful. I have coded a few other indicators for this method, you should be able to find them throughout the thread.

Is Ben Bernanke an Idiot, Dumb, & Ignorant?
Tams replied to MadMarketScientist's topic in Market News & Analysis
nobody climbs to his position because his is an idiot, dumb, or ignorant. having said that, it definitely takes a special personality to want that job. anybody with half that brain could make 100 times in the outside world. -
"ignore" is taking its effect.

if excel is proficient in doing the type of analysis that you want do... then everybody would be doing it. have you wonder why people would use ninjatrader (free) or multicharts or tradestation (free with account) to do this type of analysis and backtesting?

Advice for Beginners....don't Try to Make Money.
Tams replied to TheNegotiator's topic in Beginners Forum
I think another mistake is... beginners try to be a trader. no, no, no.... don't try to be a trader. I am not a trader. I do not trade in the traditional sense... buy spice from india and ship it to egypt, trade it for camels and ship them to china, trade the camels for tea cups and ship them to france... and so on. I am not a trader. I am a parasite. I benefit at the expense of the others. Unlike a predator, I am small. Nobody can see me, or care about my existence. Unlike a predator, I do not control my prey, I tag along for the ride. I am a parasite. I suck blood. -
