  1. that means you would rather have hamburger when you could have steak.
  2. If the market participants use random methods to decide buy/sell decisions, you will observe your coin-toss trials return a 50-50 performance.
  3. . Actually you don't need to reply any further... I have got the message in your answer. It is not cash you are talking about. Thank you very much. ;-) .
  4. no, I did not ask if the statement is by TS real account or TS sim account or TS built-in account. I ask if it is cold hard cash booked. ...like Judge Judy said, "mmm" is not an answer.
  5. you can start here: The Price / Volume Relationship http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/technical-analysis/6320-price-volume-relationship.html
  6. when people say "net profit", they mean cold hard cash in the bank. I just want to clarify, do you mean cold hard cash? or do you mean could have, would have, should have? You don't have to make a straight forward and direct to the point YES or NO answer if it is too embarrassing for you, I understand, I have seen lots of posts like this on anonymous forums. If you don't feel comfortable answering, you can just ignore this question. If you do answer, I promise you I will not ask for your brokers' statement as proof. I will assume your word is as good as gold.
  7. . "80% of the traders believe they are in the top 20%..." "80% of the noobs believe they can be in the top 20% within a year..." .

  10. just before the guy was bought out by Tradestation, in one of the messages on his website forum, he said he had only one old computer and could not afford to buy a newer and more powerful computer to test his system. oh well.
  11. on an old computer, this would look like a gentle swing. if you have a fast computer, you will see a hyper active bobhead.
  12. the post was by estate1997, not TAMS. I remember you, I remember you asked me a lot of easylanguage questions.
  13. I would expect astrologist/meteologist type of talk.... ie no commitments and no liabilities. ... Eclipse season is here, and surprising events are popping up everywhere. Fortunately, these solar and lunar events are due to be somewhat easier for you to experience than the ones that occurred last year.... ... it will be sunny tomorrow, with a chance of shower. ... if the buying volume does not come in the next few ticks, the market will turn.
  14. OK, I was too hard on you.... do a search on abc floor traders pivot it is a good example of what you want to achieve.

  16. yea... if you do not understand how to do something, we can talk about it, if you tried something and it does not work, we can talk about it. but if you have not attempted, or worst still, you haven't even picked up the manual and read the table of contents, what do you want me to do for you? ps. at this level, if there is anything i can teach you, it will be copied straight out of the manual anyway.
  17. do yo umean I have to show you the table of contents ???
  18. thanks... I will give it more thoughts over the holidays.
  19. interesting thoughts. let me digest it a bit first.... ps. you will need to rewrite the logic in a code-able manner.
  20. no flames, but hats off to you. seriously. sincerely. when someone is willing to talk, I am ready to listen with humility. would you like to start a new thread on your method?
