Building a VolumeProfile Indicator with EasyLanguage
Tams replied to Andytick's topic in Coding Forum
note: if you use the CODE TAG (the # icon) instead of QUOTE TAG... you will preserve the code formating in the code window. -
... a chart, with lines and arrows... pointing to the trigger points, and notes, describing your thoughts on how and why it triggers, will always help you see through the smoke and noise. p.s. one tip: when you are describing the trigger point, always make observation (and notes) on the bar before, and the bar after. this exercise you will help see your logic emphasized, clarity enhanced, and confirmation reiterated.

if you superimpose a Bollinger Band on it.... or Kelter Channel... or any kinds of channel... you might see new light. ;-)

What software you use depends, to a large degree, is dictated by what instrument you trade and the frequencies of your trades... Excel has its place in the game... their charting is actually quite good. It will be a surprise to most people that their charting is very capable and very sophisticated. There is a 3rd party add-on that can easily pull EOD data into Excel... the name escapes me at the moment. I will post it if my Alzheimer improves.

just in case you, or your cohorts, have comprehension problem (which happens on public forums quite often), I did not say you are a bad person, I did not say BWT is bad, I did not say your other posts, which describe trading, is bad.
-
Who really cares about how you think about BWT ??? or if there is a free trial. I said you are related to BWT, and you go on and on and on and on and on about how wonderful it is. You are not only confused. You are out of $8,000 for something you could get free from this website.
