TradersAudio is a Great service, watch the latest video. It tells the whole story. http://www.videos.traderslaboratory.com/video/339/Jan-30-2009-ES-Chart-SP-Pit-Audio-TradersAudio

I know my trading has improved listening to Ben's squawk at TradersAudio.com. If you visit the pit, like I did a few weeks ago, you know the importance of the broadcast and how many trades the squawk and the pit gives you. For example; if the Locals are stuck short and the ES begins to rally, it is only a matter of seconds before the Locals either buy in the pit or buy the ES. That information is worth the few dollars a month for the service. Plus the squawk keeps us aware of Fed meetings and Economic reports every trading day, every trading minute.

Using TradersAudio is the only way to understand what the pit is doing in real time, just watch the videos; http://www.youtube.com/tradersaudio.

Just watch the videos from the S7P CME pit in Chicago: http://www.videos.traderslaboratory.com/video/321/Jan-23-2009-ES-Chart-SP-Pit-Audio-TradersAudio

To place a stop, I need to know where I sold from? Where and what time on the chart did you sell?
-
This is true QT has no programmed indicators, but I do use the Paintbars as a programmed indicator. I could easily give you my backup.zip file if you like, to use or see.

I have used QuoteTracker for many years and it is a solid good charting and entry package. You can't beat it for $60 a year!

I agree, Minoo. The fastest way to know how and when to act on the ES is to listen to the SP squawk, and Ben is the best. http://www.youtube.com/tradersaudio http://www.youtube.com/SquawkAnalyzer

3rd Party Front Ends for InteractiveBrokers
Ants88 replied to Garry's topic in Brokers and Data Feeds
Yes, I have to agree with Pooch. I have traded with IB for 8 years and the TWS is updated or improved, then fails on next update. The BookTrader is very dangerous when buggy. If you click in the Bid field to place a limit buy order, BookTrader did not show the order active. Even when the market hit the Bid, BookTrader did not show. But the main TWS window showed I was long. I called IB and they said they were working on it. I am looking around for a other broker due to the buggy software and ES margin at $6188 intraday. -
Just DL it, thanks for the link.

Thanks Atto; Do you trade through Amp Futures? If so which platform do you use and what is there commission for the eMini (ES)?
-
Recently, a trader attempted to convince me that his eMini (ES) margin was $1000. He refused to tell me which broker he uses, which allows this low day margin. My Emini (ES) day margin is $6188 with IB, the CME minimum. Are there a broker's offering lower than CME minimum day margin for eMini (ES)? What is your day margin for eMini (ES)?

http://www.quotetracker.com works and is free for two days history, $60 a year for the max of 10 days history. The charts and entry are better than IB. -
Hello TJ, I've been using http://www.quotetracker.com with Interactive Brokers. QT is free with a limit of 2 days history or $5 a month with 10 days history. I also use them for these videos for TradersAudio.com; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uodKTWWmIs0
