  1. Thanks Tin for posting that. Cheers Blu-Ray
  2. Tin Would you mind posting the code or sending it in a PM so I could have a look Cheers Blu-Ray
  3. Ant Superb in-depth analysis, thank you I really appreciate it. Cheers Blu-Ray
  4. I still can't seem to open the first attachment
  5. Once again Ant, Excellent analysis.....keep it coming:) Just one quick question, when you do the composite profile, why do you pick that particular date (20th)? Cheers Blu-Ray
  6. I heard torrentyspy.com is good or try torrentz.com and that searches about 5 or 6 different sites ( one of them is piratebay ) .............................errrrr so I hear Cheers Blu-Ray
  7. Good analysis there Momentum, glad to see they work ok in MultiCharts. This method is looking great so far. Cheers Blu-Ray
  8. Thanks Walter, I'm looking forward to it as it looks a great method. Cheers Blu-Ray
  9. Walter Here's an example of the USDJPY that I was watching this morning, turned out to be a lovely move.
  10. Right here goes: I've coded it up as per VT's formula, when viewing TS alongside the VT version it's acts very similar, but it's not exact due to the slight variation in code between the ADX function in TS and the ADX function in VT. Anyway, I think it's close enough, but if anyone wants to try and modify it further then send me a PM ( rather than clutter up this thread ) and I'll explain the discrepancy. NOTE: When installing it onto your chart you'll have to: A): Change the colour of your background to grey. or B): Change the colour of the "VarMa" plot to a different colour than black. Cheers Blu-Ray FANTAIL.ELD
  11. Excellent work Walter, great explanation on the posts and videos. I'm currently trying to translate the code into Tradestation so others can follow along, it still needs refining as I don't think it's smooth enough yet, but here's a pic to show you. I'll post the code when I get it working properly(hopefully tomorrow). Great thread, keep up the good work and thanks. Blu-Ray
  12. Ant Excellent post, thanks for the insight. Blu-Ray
  13. Sounds good, but in the mean time we should set up a TL online poker tourney. I know James and yourself mentioned it a few months ago, but we should set it up. The trouble would be for yourself and others that live in the US that can't play for real money, but surely we could set up a tourney where its for free and the winner wins some Amazon vouchers, like the video contest last month. Just a thought and count me in;) Blu-Ray
  14. Excellent, I'm glad I could help. Blu-Ray
  15. Try this out and let me know if it's OK. Blu-Ray RSIBOLLSLOWS.ELD
  16. Walter I've been away for a week and after coming back to 508 unread posts, I've managed to come around to this one. I have to say that you have been excellent and very generous with your methods, I seem to be on the same wavelength as yourself as scalping is 'my thing'. Anyway I have enjoyed all your threads and take pieces out of all of them, especially the "flip" which is a very powerful method and keeps occuring a lot of the time. I also enjoyed your videos on the "mini icon" thread as you were very detailed in your explanation and it's good to see the process in real time. I noticed that you haven't posted for a while on any of your threads, so it's good to have you back. Thanks for everything Blu-Ray
  17. Brownsfan and NihabaAshi, Thank you both very much for your analysis and advice, it is much appreciated. My primary trade methology is basically scalping off S/R zones and also flip trades ( Thanks Walter ! ). As I said originally I am starting to notice the candlestick patterns at my S/R zones which are helping me, but I wasn't noticing the previous patterns as you have kindly pointed out. I shall take your advice and concentrate on a couple of patterns and go from there. Thank you very much Blu-Ray
  18. Thanks Brownsfan for the analysis, the market is the DAX and its a 55Tick Chart. I don't know if you think that might be too quick to learn on or maybe moving out to a larger timeframe to grasp the concept easier. Thanks Blu-Ray
  19. Here's some charts that happened today when my system fired off some signals, I'm trying to incorporate candlestick analysis to aid my decisions, but I'm not trading directly off candlestick analysis. First off, I'm a newbie when it comes to candlestick analysis, so go easy on me;) All charts are short term tick charts. 1st chart fired off a buy signal, but the two previous candles were trying to go higher but pushed down very fast in real time, then the signal was generated. I decided to step aside as although my system generated a buy signal, the candles were telling me otherwise. 2nd chart fired off a short signal but on that candle was also a dragonfly doji, so I passed on the trade, however would have turned out to be a winner. 3rd chart fired off a buy signal and also had the bonus of it being a hammer, I took the trade as it gave me extra confidence. I think basically what I'm trying to say is that I'm starting to look at candlestick patterns to filter my trades, I'm still very new to this candlestick analysis but it looks so promising that it's got my full attention. I've just ordered Steve Nison's book ( Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques) so hopefully I can digest the concept better. Cheers Blu-Ray
  20. Sounds good Walter, I'm looking forward to it. Thanks Blu-Ray
  21. Yes Nick you're right, he's an absolute legend.
  22. I remember the 2005 Ashes hehe ! But somehow mysteriously can't remember the last ashes............. and NO....don't remind me;)
  23. Thanks Brownsfan and NihabaAshi, I'll post some charts and thoughts over the weekend.
  24. Nick Just wondered if you'd seen this lately;) (obviously we haven't got a cat in hell's chance this time around)
