Walter The Fantail is a VMA1 with the yellow line a VMA3. Here goes for the charts, same time period all with 6 period cci: 1st: VarMA_Length 4, ADX_Length 8 2nd: VarMA_Length 8, ADX_Length 16 3rd: VarMA_Length 4, ADX_Length 4 4th: VarMA_Length 8, ADX_Length 8 5th: VarMA_Length 16, ADX_Length 16 With regards to Ninja, the language looks very close to MT4, which looks a minefield. I'm currently trying to code that ccivma into MT4 but so far just coming up with a load of errors :crap: ( Oh how I love TS ) Cheers Blu-Ray

Thanks Darth for the tikka recipe, it's pretty much the same ingredients I use, I just feel as if I'm missing something, when comparing to the restaurants. Don't want to hijack the thread or anything.....but I'm right into my cooking at the moment. It's just great to make something up using fresh ingredients rather than processed food or bottled sauces. So just a quick question, is there a website you use ( or recommend ) for getting recipes off. It would be nice to experiment using recipes from the other side of the pond. Cheers Blu-Ray

Here's a couple of charts of todays 1 min action in the AUDUSD.

Here's two for the session on the DAX and one for the 5 min of AUDUSD for todays session, I feel as if it's got potential, but it does have flaws. It's a cci of VMA1, maybe after some agreements of inputs on the other VMA's Bruce has produced, then I could do a cci of that version. To be honest Walter, I've never checked their language, I used the platform before for testing but never programmed. I'll take a look at the language, but if it's anything like MT4, then I would pass on it because I take my hat off to Bruce for doing such a great job on the MT4 system as it looks awful to program on. Sound very good Walter, I'm looking forward to it. With regards to cci here's a quick example of what I'm experimenting with: The HE effect comes into play on the cci and stop you taking entries on false breakouts. This chart is real time. Still experimenting though. Cheers Blu-Ray

Hi Walter Yes I'm testing them out on futures and forex. On the forex side I'm following along with you on the AUDUSD via 5 and 1 min, but as for the futures, I'm testing them out on the DAX via tick charts ( still testing the exact time frame). PYenner's produced quite a few different versions which I'm trying to keep up with, but there's just so many different combinations of inputs possible. It's so time comsuming as you know going throught the different combinations. I also can't help but stick a cci on my chart as well to play around with. Ryker Excellent work on the Excel program, works a treat, with regards to the composite profile, it would be good if you could choose how many days you want to merge eg. 5 days and then have a section for inputting 5 days worth of data. Just my thoughts, Cheers Blu-Ray

Hi RAVIN I calculate the MP levels using excel, it's availble to download here http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/6/mp-on-excel-1306-2.html#post7227 Just input the 30 min data and it will then draw the days Market Profile. Hi RAVIN To be honest, I just popped onto this thread yesterday and couldn't resist making up the indicator, however I also trade the Dax but I use MP levels. Looking on reflection of it, when you said Mark and his followers claim it mirrors MP levels, this does not seem to be true. In the chart below, the blue lines are the Pivots and the yellow/lightgray lines are MP levels. However, on reflection, I think it was just me because I'm that used to the Tradestation platform and just couldn't ( or wouldn't ) get use to their platform. But I think it would do the trick for you, since you're looking for good MP charts and volume by price charts, I think you can't go wrong. Hope this helps Blu-Ray
