This is a new and modified version of the BRICKS indicator provided by PatientTrader from the TS forums. The BRICKS is simply a 3 Line Reversal indicator. This one has been modified to: "1. Added TrendLine drawing to draw the tops and bottoms of the "bricks". 2. Cleaned up the Alert reporting 3. Added a vertical Trendline as the last PaintBar of a box prior to a new box, to close the box cleanly. - description taken from TS forums by PatientTrader Note: I read somewhere that this is a little resource intensive. I can not get this to load on my charts so please do not ask me any question on how it works. I have not tried it and will most likely not. Installation: Import the .ELD file. Go to Insert Analysis Technique > Pantbar > 3 Brick Reversal > DONE custombricks.ELD

That is extremely true and I had to learn the hard way. Although applying a new simple tool or methodology can seam easy, I found out that this is not. It affected the way I process information, often coming into conflict with my core trading methodology. This lead me to take trades that I would usually pass on or step aside when I would usually place a trade. In the end, I constantly go back to my own simple method. Very good point Torero and excellent thread Walter.

Hi Pivotprofiler, I always do enjoy reading your posts. Can you explain a little further on why the narrow bar is a test? I do understand the concept behind the previous bars... but am unable to fully comprehend why that narrow bar becomes a test for supply. I see volume is low.... did the markets test for supply near the low of the bar? In other words, sellers were not interested in selling so low so buyers stepped in to close the bar near its high? Thank you

Nice cars... I was never too into cars but one car I am craving for is the Mercedes G class, tinted windows and chrome color. 20inch wheels wouldnt hurt also. I also do like Bentley's. Hot stuff.

I have been a TS user for 3 years now... recently switched over to Infinity to clear with them. I must say I absolutely love the TS platform for data and charts. Have tried several vendors in the past but never found them as good as TS. Might be a better idea to clear somewhere else as TS execution is not that fast. I still trade with TS though to cover some of the expenses.

*BLING* Every now and then I go through the member list to see how many posts, activity on board, time spent on board, etc... I boost accounts up that are regular participants on the board. I havent done this last month so will need to spend the weekend going through this.

Davingarlie, both of us know what you did was clearly a violation of copyright. You even replied to our posts claiming it was your own? Cmon here..... Hi Bukk, Just had a chance to talk with The Lion. He would love to get comments and responses so I have enabled the daily commentary section for new threads and replies. (I literally spent a week showing him how to use the forum) Hopefully you guys can toss of ideas and opinions.

I have four 17 inch LCD's but am craving for more space. My next monitor upgrade with be 20" minimum. In my opinion, if you decide to go with the 17's.. you will end up regretting not getting 20's.

Very interesting comment on the close. Would you say the bigger the timeframe the more significant the closing price per bar? For example: comparing a 1min bar to a 5min bar.

I treat is as a signficant pivot level. Perhaps more powerful than any other pivot since VPOC's are pretty rare. Check out 12250 from 3/6. The reason is that I have seen price reverse at these VPOC's plenty of times.

Yep.. make sure to change your contract symbol. Volume should be in the new contract.

I never really paid attention to the volume POC or even the POC in my trading. I do pay attention to the virgin POC though.

Yea.. definitely to make some changes to that. I disabled a search feature that used to appear at the bottom of the forums. Hopefully that will save up on the server load. I will look into what else I can eliminate. My apologies for this.

Yep... not a good question to be asking where you need to buy. If you received a buy tip will you receive a sell tip? The thing about trading is that we need to be fully responsible for our losses and wins. I suggest you start learning how to trade studying price action and volume. What is your timeframe? What markets do you trade?
