Final exit chart here: Trade strategy here was using VSA techniques at key Market Profile levels with auction theory in mind.

First exit shown. Concept here is price has auctioned too far away from the previous day value. Looking for it to balance out inside the 1/28 value area for now. Second exit target will be based off the IB range OR the 1/28 VAH at 1350 ish.

Thanks mcichoki, The monthly costs comes down to under $200 for me with IRT Pro charting package, IQFEED for CBOT, NYSE, CME, ICE, and SIMEX. I do enjoy the IRT platform... very suited for my trading and quite happy with it.

Its possible to do in a few DOM's. Not familiar with OEC but Im sure brownsfan can help you with this.

Didnt realize the candle pattern until you mentioned. I was actually placing this trade based on a pattern recognition through market profile. Range extension upside on news is likely to shift value higher. But will rotate near the upper range similar to a "P" profile (if u exclude the area before the breakout). This allowed me to place a counter trend trade anticipating price to rotate back down slightly (not a complete reversal) and to form a double distribution trend day.

I dont use pivots that much for trade locations anymore.. I use them as reference point in case Im in a trade and wondering why supply/demand is approaching. I use 24 hour charts for all my intraday charts besides the MP chart. Pivots are using the classic formula.

Thanks JJ. The software Im using now is Investor RT. Pretty isnt it? Comes with auto pivots and mp levels so makes my life easier.
