Agree with you here, FW. It's already been worth about 70pt on the Dow. Think we'll have another run up before it goes right down again, though.

Easier to make money with E-minis and a proper trading platform than with spreadbets, and the 'no-tax' angle doesn't matter much until you're profitable.

Anyone trading the Dow today? I've been short since the big rise earlier, currently about +12 with a trailing stop.

First short very quick, but made a few more DAX trades yesterday and came out with around 20pt net, so it could have been worse!

Thanks... It's just a vicious rumour - I stay in trades if they don't trip a trailing stop. In this case I part closed early and left the rest running until I thought there'd be at least a significant reversal. I was wrong about that, of course!
