  1. Couldn't agree more, I have no interest in running the range, I have a set target per trade (small, as leverage is high), in on signal, out on target, in and out on a regular basis pays the rewards imo:), less exposure to the markets and money in the bank so to speak:thumbs up:
  2. Hi ST, can I ask, are you trading futures or cash on the ftse?
  3. Got a place in the South of France, we go every year to re-charge the batteries and get completely away from everything, news, phone, friends and the markets:)
  4. I'm around FW, limited time though, winding down here mate, finish trading this friday until September, getting ready for my annual pilgrimage to the south of France for 3 months. Looking forward to 3 months of SS&S (sun sand and forgot the last one):o. Will post a few trades before I go:)
  5. :applaud::beer: Absolutely amazing sir, another entry bang on:o
  6. Fantastic entry there FW, ba:thumbs up:ng on the nose
  7. Hi PM, don't have any views anymore, when I think I get . I'm very happy for the MM's to take it where they want to, I trade the 5 min charts, set up tells me when to trade, so I happy either way:D
  8. Daily targets by points here Stopped out last trade (-5)
  9. Damn, whilst typing the above, missed a short call on the ftse, so no more from me for now, unless I can get a trade in
  10. I'm sure we would all agree, the hardest thing in trading is accepting losses, it was my downfall in my early years of trading, even today, with the best will in the world, emotions still try and kick in when I have to accept a loss, anybody care to admit they struggle with it? Trader I know quite often says, "stop losses have made him his money", which in a strange way is probably true, limit losses, maximise winnings.
  11. To FW and and a few others surprise, I took time out to completely review my trading strategy earlier this year, I had traded the same system (with a few tweaks)for many years, it worked well. But a complete change has improved my trading and my enjoyment of trading tremendously, I use less indicators etc than before, simple on the eye and simple to use.
  12. Win /Loss 80% Risk/Reward Don't meassure Margin Used variable depending on product and perceived "risk" £pp, fairly high, but will remain personal. Trades: Like to earn my money on the initial ABC movement, then go away and look to get another trade or 2 in the pm /evening session. Stop Loss, ftse 5, dow (variable), Dax & CAC 10 3 Losses in a row, stop trading the day and review the trades to assess what, if any mistakes I made. Stats: recorded daily on a rolling month basis Trade in the peace and quiet, no music, no telly, like to concentrate
  13. Hi Taz, thanks for asking, I have been in a skype "chat room" before and echo Souls comments, I do find them distracting, even these type of forums I find distracting at times, hence why I'm not always around, but still try to post the odd trade to keep in touch with fellow traders. So thanks for asking, but I will decline.
  14. Nice entry guys, but with Taz here, just waiting for clarity, don't mind missing a few points either
