Here is the beginning balance and statement. I have not traded this acct since the 22nd. I had to divide it up because it is several pages. ~$2500 By the way, If anyone uses Dorman and knows how I can get a simpler statement to post please pm me.
-
I will enter, and post the next time I receive a statement in my secondary account which I will be trading for this race. I only receive statements on days I enter trades in that account.

Yes, as of this year

I agree about the C2 interface but the NT Dom is extremely reputable and solid. I have executed serious size on es, cl and dax using the NT Dom, the only times I ever had problems was when I was using a computer that had too much garbage on it along with NT and this has only happened I believe 4 times. This year I switched from the license key that is 185$/quarter to the free version and like it more because you do not need to have a pre-determined strat to enter.

Ninja lets you execute trades through the dom and routes them to C2 but they say in the literature that their is a possibility of the trade not being sent so you would then need to login on the website and close out the trade, so a winning trade on your end could be a loser for any customers. The site was also hacked a while back. I said a little bit back I was considering C2 but have since decided against it. My reasons are mostly other than what I mentioned above.

Following in MCM's grading I feel I need to grade my performance today and yesterday. Pre-Market analysis: A+ Entries: F Execution of plan: F Exits: F

I took a round turn about two years ago using the ticket but I think they should create a dom for futures traders. I use a computer for executing and one for charting so I would probably buy a laptop for C2; I do not use the internet on either machine (except for the connections to data and broker, but no surfing of the net) this is relatively new

Long four, scaled 2 and 2. Today's boredom was pure torture
-
As dinero and brownsfan know I have thought of possibly doing this but one of my major concerns is if I have entered long and then feel price is going to stall or turn around, on my account I can get out using dom; however, they say on their site that if you use the ninja dom you may not have your order sent to C2 (some sort of error sometimes occurs) and you would need to log in and get out using their ticket. This would create a loser that was really a winner on my end and would be detrimental as to the only reason I would be doing this is a track record. Obviously I would have made money and any subscribers would have lost which would lose subscribers if I had any and I would feel bad for them as well. If you could expand on your experiences with them it would be very helpful.

Chart from today, pleased with es trades which I marked.
-
Today was so-so, I had a terrible headache I got out of every trade to early, as shown by the chart, 2 es trades for 2.25 points along with a scratch that was stupid on my part. I also had an NQ trade but I exited only because I saw a setup that I look for on the ES which was the short near the end of the day. The NQ trade was profitable but due to the point value I would rather trade the es. Each ES trade was 2 contracts. You guys should post charts and we can get a discussion going regarding methods and whatever else. Despite my early exits, I was happy with my entries.

From here on out I am posting smaller account results only. I sold 2 on the open ( from my pov perfect setup) and exited at support. I missed a long signal right after my exit, which was a pre-market trade I was looking for, and later lost 1 point, the I read the pa correctly so I am fine with the trade. By the way, the opening trade was not a "gap fill" type trade, after looking into this it is not something I would trade. On the day I made a modest 1.25 points

I was just joking I did not buy a car. I am looking into the Audi R8 though. We will see.
-
It is hard to see because I took the photo with my blackberry but the tires were about 12inches wide. I thought it might have been the Reventon because there was a man standing near watching it very intently, he was close to Shaq in size
-
I bought this last weekend, great fun but it is expensive to insure. Actually I saw this last Saturday and I think it is the Reventon, not sure because it did not say. But like a dork I had to take a picture because not many cars go for that much.

Evil Oil Traders lol What's driving up oil prices again? Wall Street, of course | McClatchy

Today I traded my brothers 3k account, we are putting more money in soon. Probably next week. I went into the day looking for a short around 75.75, or 74 due to my pre-open homework. I was reading about Jimmy Hoffa on Wikipedia (seriously, I was:crap:) unfortunately when 75.75 was in play the first time, it never traded through the second time and I got in late at 75 with 2 contracts. I scaled one at 74, and the balance at 67.75. I attached a chart, I think it would be nice if we all start attaching charts showing what we were seeing when we entered. I no longer use only limit orders like I did last year. I missed too many trades and often price would touch my price and move away quite a bit. Now, when shorting I sell the bid and when buying buy the ask, I also take as many trades as I find appealing each day, rather than waiting and loading up like last year. Hope it helps. Chris

I completely agree with your assessment. I lost my fair share of real money when I started. The whole time I could successfully trade on sim. I remember when I felt that I had come into my own as a trader, my account was around 5k and I was down $1,500 on the day but the last trade was executed perfectly and it had all the pressure of making my account go down to 3k from 5k in one day. I do not remember what the last trade made (not that much) but I told my dad that I was now at ease with my trading and had confidence in my entries/exits and losses from that point on I was fine with if I had stayed within my plan/rules. I know this last part will not be a popular statement and I am not at all saying this pertains to anyone here because everyone who posts has solid reasons to take a trade but I have wondered if sim exists to lure people into trading fake money so when they start with real cash thinking they were born with a gift they will no doubt over trade (making broker $) and lose.

I wish someone had mentioned this last month, I have to store all the oil I took delivery on in my pool.

For quite awhile when I was new to futures trading, I dreamed of $150/day. I have just been at it awhile. Chris

Sorry, accidentally reposted

From now on out I will post the smaller account results. Today I missed 2 setups in es and traded a third for around 2.5k, the majority of my p/l came from an oil trade. This is probably my last CL trade unless I see a setup I can't resist, I have one such setup but I do not want to take up the real estate with an oil chart every day. Attached is a chart so maybe we can get up some of the discussion like we had last year regarding analysis. I will try to post charts when I can.

I will start regular posting again but I do not really feel comfortable posting my account any longer (my brother has an acct. I trade for him with ~5k in it) I should have posted the mae and mfe in retrospect but the good that came from last years posts is I imagine is my posting made others realize it is possible. Jason, as a side note, your auto system has inspired me to start working on other systems.

A Ferrari is really just a Fiero with a bodykit.

Today was my first day since the time change. BTW, I am trading smaller size than I did last year and going for bigger moves.
