Some winners don't. Some do. BTW there is no herd. There are a million and one opinions .... in the internet age ..... on just about any subject. Pro and con. Long or short.
-
I suppose a bounce continuing is in the cards for the next day or two or longer but I'm waiting for the downtrend to resume before entering again.
-
Bank and hedge fund traders side by side in office buildings using OPM is a whole nother world from us trading at home alone with our funds.

Dang after you get edumaketd with math go on to history. Nu Yawk Shity is 200+ years old. New Amsterdam and also the period after the Dutch got booted when there was only some of Manhattan and nothing to do with the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island is not the "city" that I am talking about.
-
A man with a plan. Why, how much, target and when to bail. Looking good right now. Though I tend to stay away from counter-trend trades myself. :thumbs up:
-
You should seek math. 50 year trend is closer to forever in a city 200+ years old (which unlike you I didn't mention) than temporary.
-
You quote Jackson Browne to make a point about guns. He is a libber, don't you know. And it is SunNoGun to you mister.
-
Gun ban would protect more than 2,200 firearms Gun ban would protect more than 2,200 firearms - Yahoo! News What a joke," said former FBI agent John Hanlon, who survived the 1986 shootout in Miami. He was shot in the head, hand, groin and hip with a Ruger Mini-14 that had a folding stock. Two FBI agents died and five others were wounded. + + + Indeed. What a joke. Well except the dying part.
-
There are corporations against guns, huh? Which ones are those. Maybe a shyster lawyer or two. But what corporation has a financial benefit from guns not being sold. I know about the corporations for guns. Such as Smith&Wesson etc and your favorite retailer Walmart.
-
So now it is .... well violent crime is down but white collar crime isn't. This is the arm or disarm thread. Not white or blue collar thread. And 50 YEAR record low is not temporarily. :haha:
-
Whichever path you take take your time learning. No shortcuts in life. And .... take any advice, from me or anyone else, with a grain of salt.
-
I didn't say you did. I was making a point. And you as usual are not making a point - that is reality based anyway. From a couple of years ago - and things have only gotten better since: NYPD Press Release | NY Safest Big City “The data reflects in no small measure the dedication and hard work of New York City Police officers, and the Mayor's commitment to keeping New Yorkers safe, year after year,” said Commissioner Kelly."
-
More incoherant babble from your part. As Joe Pesci would say "Ad this". I am from NYC originally and know it was and is a change in how they police the streets. The culture change was in the thinking of those who govern. Booting out those who were incompetent and/or corrupt. But again it was not from the spread of more, more, more guns. Just the opposite.
-
Maybe. Just like more effective methods of controlling violence on the outside. Case in point NYC, 50 year record low in murders this past year. And not done by arming every citizen.
-
A "burglar" would wanted to leave him probably.

That is all good for investing. Doesn't do much for trading. Overbought/oversold - is defined 1000 different ways by a 1000 different people.

Weren't we supposed to commuting by our own personal flying machines by now ala The Jetsons? Although things change fast nowadays, I'd say "perfected" personal printing machines are still a long way off. And will have only certain capability allowed. Just like there are those who can crack software most of us can't so we rely on the out of the box configuation. Pipedream for those who believe different.

Dormer who is that? Oh right, the one doing all the killing out in Cali - with what else a gun. So this nutjob is in favor of taking away guns? Really good advocate for either side! :haha:
-
oxymoron: gunfacts

Re-read my post and who it was quoting. MM is making the MOST sense. But I have to admit your post is too wordy as well as zdo's and I didn't get much beyond what I quoted above. I try to K I Short S as much as I can.
-
Yeah you're still not making sense. But thanks for putting me at the top of your post. Saves me from bothering with the rest.

Viet Nam veteran gun nut. Just like Iraqi veteran gun nut who killed the other Iraqi veteran "hero" sniper.

Risk is what you allow, reward is what the market allows. 1/1, 1/2, 1/3 are meaningless, price action and your reaction determines right hand side of the ratio. Which btw is almost always expressed backwards. After all it is risk/reward and not reward/risk.

Google Andy Borowitz. I already knew who he is but I google everytime when I'm not aware of the source or validity of something. "Truth is stranger than fiction" and vice versa and sometimes one and the same. BTW I was silent till now because I just read it - a little thing called trading .... and life gets in the way sometimes.

So the murder rate of Chicago is normal these days? Hallucinogens - that s'plains it.
