Psychology of Managing Trades for an Income
SunTrader replied to Enigmatics's topic in Trading Psychology
Trading is all about probabilities - there is no should. -
It broke - so no if any longer.
-
No if anymore .
-
Bob come on man. When was the last time you saw me post I'm long. Maybe if I take a Viagra I'll be long. Until then I'll be waiting for the trend to actually turn. Meantime I'll post when there is a reason to post. On another note I did notice Silver starting to act better than Gold.

Do adults get  and free pu... nevermind. :o
-
What? What did you expect. :o
-
Something else I don't care about. Want to try a 3rd? Because all I care about is me (and price) right now. All else is noise.
-
Obviously. As for the rest  don't care. I am living and spending my dollars today not 10, 20, 30 or 100 years ago.
-
Bonds, S&P, Crude, Gold same difference. Its all good - if you ask me. But nobody did.
-
Agree. Connecting monthly closing swing high prices I see breakout.
-
Then for that to happen this level (1686) will have to break, which it danced off today:
-
The trend as I see it:

"Forward-looking CEO and president Gary J. Goldberg ......." Is the Chairman Gary J. Silverberg?
-
Depends on the accuracy of that chart. Where does it come from? Seems to me price would have stabilized long ago - and started to rebound a lot stronger as well. I don't bother with such stuff but take a look here. Seems to be conflicting info out there: http://www.caseyresearch.com/gsd/edition/shortages-warehouses-and-misinformation-comex-gold-explained
-
So which is it ?
-
This week will most likely be more range bound price action, similar to last week, until FOMC on Wednesday and NFP on Friday are out of the way.
-
Well wasn't physical demand strong last year and the year before and price went ...... down.
-
Opinions are fine. Something more than "physical demand is too strong" would be better though.

Why Successful Traders Use Fibonacci Retracements
SunTrader replied to tmbaru's topic in The Markets
It works both ways for Bonds or Cohen. We don't how good or poorly SAC would have done without insider info. Meantime since he is escaping jail time and even with a hefty fine and lifetime industry ban he will walk away with more money than either of us have. I'd take that comedy act any day of the week. -
"by the way folks, gold is headed down to test $1000....its not rocket science..... " Hey that should be a book title kinda like Dow 40,000 or some such.
-
I'd pack it in otherwise.
-
Meantime I think 1320 recent support (April'13) is now resistance, boll band is tightening and Gann level around 1346 will be formidable obstacles to get through:

I'm bearish until price says otherwise.
