It's not to my own the Bible: Technical analysis of stock trends, by Edwards and Magee discusses extending major TL's . erie
-
Why not? It is a major TL. It is not predicting , but anticipating........( yes I pay attention to it) erie

[quote=firewalker;38895 Analysis in my blog. Just extended your major dtl and circled where traders stepped up to the plate before........ erie

As of yet we haven't seen much selling pressure on the downside ( volume ). Could this be absence of sellers? Buyers hanging on.......? erie

Looking at past charts for the ES, when the cash opened below previous day's range, it was mainly a buying opp, not so for today..........therefore a failed test erie

I can't hardly join in because I don't trade this, but will comment on one issue. Shouldn't one have a strategy for a when price is trending and one for when price is in congestion, where identifying s/r would be different for each approach? And then there is when one should sit out because he has no edge? just thinking erie

Support was right there on the ES, made for a nice trade to the midpoint. erie

today then should be quite simple, should we open with yesterday's range. On the ES s/r match with your analysis of the ES. 1421 and 1409.

Even then someone else could trade differently using the same ideas as Db or who follows the principles of Wyckoff. I trade the ES. I took a short position at the end of Friday's trade , looking for weakness to present itself this morning with the reasoning that the high of Friday was already a test and the close was a lower high. Should price hold here this morning I will get out quick. So you can't get any more real time than that, for now. I would get back in the trade on the test of the high. I can attest to Db's trading acumen as to what he says he trades as I have been in a trading room with him. erie (who doesn't reveal too much of his trades)

I've never read it, just had the course , and all the graphs have no open on the daily ranges, because ( i thought ) he was teaching for the intermediate term. But one learns something new every day erie

Could the possible answer be that Wyckoff was not about intra-day trading? erie
