  1. Thanks Blowfish, I will see what I can do, I will play around with the formulas, I think i know where the issue is. Simon
  2. Thanks Blowfish, Excellent Chart just brilliant! So tell me Blowfish how can I correct those HTF to look normal on the LTF. Your help will be much appreciated. Simon
  3. Hi Blowfish, Well the problem is that it does not show in stairstep format, just like the Tradestation. I have attached a sample what I am looking at, I have enquired with TS they game some dll link file to connect and do it another way, but it is way to complicated, maybe someone knows how to use global variables in Multicharts. Simon
  4. Hi All, Does anyone use any other software than Tradestation for Drummond Geometry? Im using multicharts at the moment but do not like how the higher time frame pldots and envelopes are drawn on the lower time frame windows. I have attached a screen image of my chart. Simon
  5. Hi All, Here is a 1999 article by Ted Hearne from futures mag on how you can trade exhausts using Drummond Geometry. Simon trading_exhausts.pdf
  6. Hi Brownsfan, I must admit it is hard to learn at first, I only started to grasp the main principles after I went over the 1-5 lessons the second time. The PLDot push and refresh principle is just great especially when you use it using multiple time frames just gold. The PL dot is nothing more than a 3 day moving average of High,Low and Close moved forward in time by one bar. Simon
  7. Hi All, I have started this thread to discuss more about Drummond Geometry trading style. I have been using this method for the last year and I must say it is very logical way of trading. I will post some articles by Ted Hearne to start of. It would be good to get more P&L traders to join this thread. Regards Simon energy.pdf chartpoint1.pdf chartpoint2.pdf chartpoint3.pdf

  10. OK Guys, Here is the first file on a more permanent server. Mark Fishers interview, I think. Download it and you will see. http://www.wavex.net.au/mf/fish_2007.swf More to come in the next few posts. Simon :haha:
  11. Hi Trader07, The information is the same as in the book but he goes into much more detail in some parts of the seminar. I am currently uploading all his information that I have on him. Good Trading to you all. Simon
  12. Hi Guys, I see that a lot of people are still after Mark Fishers seminar videos. I closed down the old server where the files were sitting on. I will upload them in the next few weeks to a new server. Good trading to all. Simon
  13. Hi Tresor, My next move is Szczecin, I will be moving in the next few weeks after that probably the UK or Germany. Time will tell how this group will develop in the coming weeks and months. Regards Simon
  14. Hi Jarek, Well the idea is great but no one is interested, because the newbies are a bit afraid when you mention stock market in this part of the country. As for permanent day traders, no one has come forward. So I guess we just have to wait. Regards Simon
  15. Thanks Mister ED for those useful links. Simon
  16. Use Torrent or Emule to search for photoshop videos. I have some here but they are in gigs. Simon
  17. Hello Everyone, Can someone out there tell me where can I go on the internet to find out the total daily option volume for stocks and etfs, is there such a service? Anyhelp will be much appreciated. Simon
  18. Excellent Website HLM, I got some code will have a look at it tonight, it is sure a time saver. Simon
  19. Hi HLM, Yes I had a look at some of the free sniplet code websites but could not find anything for the requirements. At this stage I am using VB Microsoft .Net, simple and effective, comparing to C in the old days. Simon
  20. Thanks for the comments HLM. There is a bit of programming involved in this analog stuff, I might just change this to a digital version, mostly because the analog is just to big, too complicated and it will vary on all computers in someway. Simon
  21. Hi Everyone, Anyway I started to prgram this and I am testing out a script. Can someone download this analog clock app and tell me if you experience any visual problems like blinking of the clock or something I need to confirm this, or it could be my Vista. Dont worry about the colours at this stage. Let me know so I can decide on the next step. Simon clock.zip
  22. Hi Guys, Two years ago I bought a brand new Toshiba Qosmio G30 laptop, used it around 18 hours a day, then it started to switch off unexpectedly, this started to happen more frequently until the whole motherboard died. One day the thing just did not want to start. After analysing all this I came to the conclusion that it was that the thing overheated itself and that is when the problems started occuring. I had the same issue occur with my second wifes laptop. I sorted this issue by buying brand new laptops and now I make sure that there is air circulation whenever they are not on the desk as it is crucial for the air to circulate. Simon
  23. Hi Blowfish, Its sitting on one of my web servers, should be OK. I will let everyone know on this thread when I will take them off. Simon
  24. Yes that is correct but you look at volume for confirmation, your probability increases.
  25. Hi Guys, Here is the formula that I use to calculate Mark Fishers A & C values. I use this for intraday stock trading but you can use it for futures just change the A calculation to half or quarter for the C value. Its based on 30 Day ATR Close * 0.22 for 22% but you can change it to Open, High, Low,(H+L / 2) or change the actual percentage value and use that. Here is the formula in Basic language. ATRClose = AverageTrueRange[30](close) ATR22ClosePercent = ATRClose * 0.22 OPHigHAandCvalue = OpeningRangeHigh + ATR22ClosePercent OPLowAandCvalue = OpeningRangeLow + ATR22ClosePercent Return OPHighAandCvalue As "Opening Range High A & C Value", OPLowAandCvalue As "Opening Rang Low A & C Value" Enjoy :o Simon
