Bond Futures, Not Sexy but Worth a Look!

As expected the Bond Market goes up on Monday. :applaud: -
Trading on Simulator Account is almost the same a trading Live , both have to have a STOP Loss and if the Stop Loss Exit is hit too many consecutive times, then there is something wrong with the Entry Method, period. The only difference between SIM and Live is for someone that concentrates or focuses on the Profits or Loss and does not pay enough attention to the Entry Method. That person would be inpaired or disadvantaged because the psychological or mental discipline required for trading would be lost. I traded SIM for more than a year, and until I saw 10 or more consecutive Wining Trades without hitting my STOP Loss, I did NOT traded Live.

Bond Futures, Not Sexy but Worth a Look!
Ronin replied to brownsfan019's topic in The Candlestick Corner
Bond Market Fundamentals Long Term View: The slow velocity of money will prevent inflationary times, even though the money supply is being dramatically increased, it largely is not being spent in the real economy. Printing excess dollars only matters if it trickles down to consumers who actually spend those dollars. We are facing a period like 1874-94 USA, 1929-41 USA and 1998-2008 Japan -- all deflationary periods, as opposed to our relatively frequent normal business cycle recessions. Therefore, deflation is the likely scenario over the next decade, not inflation. The 30yr Bond will go up on Monday ( short covering rally ) before it goes down again when Ring Ting TIM ( Treasury Sec. ) opens his mouth again and barks, then the 3% 10 Yr yield willl be penetrated and violated. -
Not a bad day, but still can do better...lol

Average day for me on the ES, no trades on the Bonds, they sure surprised a lot of people.

Bond Futures, Not Sexy but Worth a Look!
Ronin replied to brownsfan019's topic in The Candlestick Corner
The Bond Market has many pecularities and characteristics for example: Significant lows in the Bond market are followed by significant lows in the stock market 20 days later Intraday support is tested several times before complete reversal, in the ES or S&P500 it only happens once, most of the time. On The Payrolls Employment Report many times the expectation Bar are raised or lowered 20% or more and that will be a reliable clue for a reversal of the initial reaction to the report at 8:30 est. The expectation of supply in the Bond Market is a more important mover than many Economic reports, and many times there are subtle but reliable clues to the future reaction of the Bond Market to the upcoming Auctions. Before the FED stops changing direction of Interest Rates, the Bond Market will start trading sideways above or below a key support/resistance level until one day that level will be penetrated and a huge move of more than five full poitns will follow. There are many other price action clues and peculiarities that only with experience you will notice. -

Have been trading the 30yr Bond Futures ( ZB ) for 14 years now. Agree with Brown but there is more to it. Don't think anyone would be interested because of the " Boring " perception among traders worldwide. -

It was a figure of speech. But it was a very low risk trade for everyone on this forums. What do I get in return? Lots of envy and negative feedback. As was expected.( its human nature ) That's the last GUARANTEED trade from me on this Forum.Good luck to all, YOU WILL NEED IT.

06:05am SOLD 119-22 08:20am Target Filled at 119-00 Prev Low- GAIN + 22 Tics = $ 687.50 :haha:New Balance: $33,721.25 :applaud: SETUP Worked like a CHAMP ! ( N.Y. GIANTS ) The question is: Can Brown19 make a call like this 24hrs in advance? ( never seen him do it ) Here were one of many CLUES to ZBH8 direction: Bonds are pushing lower as the market as global bonds drag & trade looks to optimistic stock markets. The market is suffering due to its extended run-up as well, lessening appeal on the extended run-up The week ahead having a very weak data calendar, so it may be a challenge for treasuries to hold these lofty levels, especially as completely whacky headlines seem to have lost their sting. Treasuries have mid-to-low tier data today along with some Fed speak but none of that will likely drive trade. With bond sentiment having turned weaker after price highs from Jan 23 remain unchallenged despite last week's volatility, the dip buyers may be willing to wait for better levels before stepping back in & technicians are likely looking for a deeper correction leaving trade in a modest corrective position.
