Hi Walter, I do not find DinapoliStochastics or ZerolagStochs in NT. Any chance of posting these indicators? See you in the chat room. Thanks. Jim

Thanks Blu_Ray, I'll give this a try. Jim

Blu-Ray Thanks again for this indicator. I have run the new version through some forex charts and it seems to work pretty well as a divergence indicator, but it really seems to fall down on ES. I think you are right about the platforms. I generally use Multicharts with Tradestation data. I put BOP_v2 on both charts and they are different, even though they are using the exact same data. Still looking for a divergence indicator for ES on tradestation. If you have any ideas, please let the world know. I love Walters set up on MT4 and NT, for both the Icon and the divergence, but there are so many limitations on these charts. I am used to looking at volume charts for futures. Not available on MT4 and NT will only let you import 1 minute historical data from Tradestation.:crap: Anyway, thank you...thank you....thank you.....for your contributions. I continue to look forward to your posts. Jim

Hi Blu-Ray, I think I have the screen shot attached. Let me know if it is clear enough. Thanks again, Jim

Hi Blu-Ray, Thanks for your quick response to my BOP request. It seems to react differently from the MT4 version. When I compare the TS version (using multicharts and ES) with The MT4 version on a 1 min. scale, there is quite a bit of difference. I am anything but a programmer but I suspect that volume may have something to do with BOP. Volume my be somewhat of a problem with Forex but should not be with futures contracts. Thanks again for anything you may be able to do. Jim

Hi Blu-Ray, Is it possible to code BOP for TradeStation? Thanks, Jim

Hi Walter, Wow....take a day off and look at what I miss. I have traded a style similar to your ICON trade for years but had recently begun to have trouble pulling the trigger. Then getting in late....then overtrading to compensate. I have always been a fan of simplicity and very few indicators. The simplicity of your style and the obvious "triggers" have gotten me back on track. Confidence is coming back. Can't thank you enough. Really looking forward to your forex thread. Regards, Jim

Hi Walter, I have been playing with ES and find that a 44 tick chart is about as close to the 22 YM as possible. At least with todays volume. I normally like to use volume charts, but I cannot find anything that looks even close to the 22 YM. All your other settings are the same. I know that a lot of traders think that it does not move enough to scalp, but consider the following: It's 200 day ATR is 19.09 times $50 per point gives $954 avg per day Ym has a 200 day ATR of 154.91 at $5 gives $755 avg per day It is not all that difficult to scalp 2 ticks and with a $5 round trip you are still $20 ahead. Hi Walter, This set up deserves a real round of applause:applaud:. Within 10 minutes of your posting this morning, I had a usable 800 volume ES chart set up. This is what I am used to trading from, using only a rainbow set up (linuxtroll) and fractals. This is way too fast to see the CCI in time, but I did hit my daily goal (5 ES ticks per contract) within 5 minutes. Gracias! For any interested in trading ES, I am looking at a 5000 volume chart and have changed the CCI from 5 to 6. This seems pretty close to the 22 tick YM chart. If someone can tell me how to attach charts, I would be glad to post a screen shot of ES. One thing I did find out about trading YM (first time ever, this morning on a practice account)...You can't leave your stops for ES and trade YM:crap:. down 5, up 6, up another 6, I'm goin fishin. Hi Walter, Are the NT codes available anywhere for this latest group of charts? Thanks again for your Oscar winning contributions!!!! Jim

Hi Walter, On the first chart where you say too far for centrifugal entry ....are you referring to the distance of price from the magenta line? Jim
-
Hi Walter, Thank you, thank you......This just keeps getting better and better. Why the yellow MA on the CCI? It seems to interfere with the simplicity of the entry/exit triggers for me. I trade primarily the ES. Have you looked at this on anything other than YM? Jim
-
Blu-Ray Thank you. Sparrow, Thank you also...worked great. Jim

Hi Walter, Thanks for this thread. It is very close to the way I trade, but your entries seem tighter. I have not been able to figure out how to import the template to NT....I am fairly new to NT. Could you give some advice for NT or, if possible, give the indicator parameters for TradeStation (longtime user). Thanks again! Jim
