  1. will possibly make more comments on trade later
  2. here is an example of how a trade a PB on a 5 minute ES. i keep it pretty simple looking for specific things. first i look at the general context. is the intermediate trend of the day trend up or down. a glance at the 89 SMA generally tells me this. i notice the angle of the 89 sma as that indicates strenght of intermediate trend. also is the trend just a smaller trend within a larger trading range of the day or has it been a bear trend most of the session up to this point? if it is a smaller trend within a trading range then generally not advisable to trade as a continuation of the trend if the pullback is at an extreme of the range as price perhaps is simply near R/S and maybe reversing back up to opposite side of the range. during this general overview i also take note of general context conditions of candlesticks. are they mostly bearish with larger tails at top (in a downtrend) or bullish with larger tails at bottom. plus the size of the bars. all this indicates weakness or strenght thus helps me determine probabilty if a pullback will evolve into a continuation of the previous trend as opposed to price reversing. i also take note on what happended to vol during the pullback. was it may on less or on more volume than previous bars (i.e. last few bars). next i look at more immediate stuff... the slope of the pullback if steep or more sideways. bars in pullback..size? bearish? bullish? followthru ..no follow thru? big tails? small tails. if the more immediate context then validates taking a chance for a continuation of the intermediate trend then i look to enter the trade. usually 1 tick above or below the previous bar but on occasions will opt for a better entry if i think conditions warrant doing so. to not confuse i won't mention those conditions. trying to keep things simple. btw the screenshot is ES on april 4th 2012 if i remember correctly. it was in afternoon.
  3. your welcome. hope it all works out well for you.
  4. why don't you trade the nq with one contract? i find it to be more directional than say the ES and that it also leads the ES directionally much of the time.
  5. most got there ass burn't between 2007 and 2011 and are onthe back porch licking their wounds.
  6. good advice. Thanks. maybe i can reform. I just been around too many bastards and seen their sh$t too many times. Could it be people don't like me because i. Speak the truth..things they don't want to hear....regardless? I actually like MM but he would probally would not believe me. I do tend to get dramatic and hyperbolish at times but that is me. Watch you see is what you get... I respect everyones right to their own opinion. Thanks for the advice..not sure i'll take it but it is an option.
  7. Pre hft leaves basically the same footprints and chart patterns...etc as present day htf. It might affect if you are scalping 1 to 3 ticks but is does not affect swing trading very much... if any.....if you know how to pick only trades that have a 40% to 60% probability. At least i haven't found much difference but then i could a tad bit off of my rocker....,:haha: most people think i am.. I could care less:cool:
  8. of course all that is just hyperbole. cost would make it prohibitive for the bad boogie man. but if it did come down to it that would be fine..tanks and fighter jets. then they could be stopped from a long distance away from any school. see the mindset of liberals is that nothing will work to stop the evil people. you have to cater to them..plead with them..make laws that go easy on them...outlaw death penalty (i am quite sure you are against that too) and PRESTO they will reform themselves and become nice citizens since we were SO SO nice to them. well that is what has happened in Honduras..Mexico..Guatemala..Canada...and other countries. didn't work. some of these have basically lost their country. won't work in america as we are more violent than all the others. we were born in violence. we will always be a violent nation. these bastards (evil people) understand one thing. OVERWHELMING force. sometimes overwhelming force is the only recourse...remember WW2 Japs..suicide pilots..ready to die for their leader and country...etc..well it all stopped with two bombs that overwhelmed them completely. it is called shock and awe
  9. that is true i give that much to you..i.e. they would be at risks around my guns or your guns if we have them in the house unless we train them well concerning them but even then there is a measure of risk. i am (was as my kids are grown and married now but have grandkids come over and spend the night) willing to assume that risks. you aren't, so to each their own. we each have our own tolerance for risks. however, there is another risk you didn't mention. aren't your kids at risk when the boogie man comes? sometimes they do in fact make their own guns. if it were possible to make obsolete all guns, everywhere, in the whole world, then yes, your idea might be a pretty good idea. however that will never happen and is idealistic thinking. as long as there are guns in this world you can ban them in america and the boogie man will get them somewhere else. because that is what you REALLY want. which wouldn't be a bad idea if it were possible, but it isn't. there will always be bastards that have to see and feel the end of a bullet as the only thing that will stop them from their evil. not a bad idea. have a hammer for primary weapon..a pistol for 2nd backup..a rifle for third backup..a machete as last resort. or we could make golf clubs primary and the rest as backups. you use golf clubs as primary and have no backup. optimist invented the airplane. pessimist invented parachutes!
  10. now i know where we americans get our arrogance..from the brits!!!
  11. :bang head: :thumbs down:
  12. thanks for the explanation..i will take the time to read the article. it was a good puzzle...kudos to siuya. even if he doesn't like my riddle or me personally. most people don't like me. that is ok..i don't like them either     PS and i don't give a sh$t :missy:
  13. sounds like suiya might be pissed off? he couldn't guess it, and won't admit it, and isn't humble enough to cry "uncle". :helloooo: sounds like he may be stroking his ego.  tactical modus operandi..make the riddle valueless...the answer stupid (which it may actually be depending on how you see it) or simple (which it is), and the riddle maker an evil person...oh well one thing he may be right about..it may be time to move on...if you don't understand the trade..can't take the loss..can't learn why you were stopped out...then trading with a BIG ego is a great way to fill someone elses pocket book with your money. it is what it is :haha: :haha:
  14. LOL LOL   you want to gov to stick a pacifier of gun ban in your mouth because you are afraid to have a gun in your home (you said so, not me) hence you want the gov to do all the protecting for you so you want them to ban guns so nobody can hurt you. however, that doesn't work. it won't work. never has worked. the evil boogey man will always get the arms, regardless of regulations. so you gonna have to man up and learn to protect yourself and not depend on the gov to do it for you. now who needs the pacifier? we see things differently, that is for sure. you see the law abiding citizen as the one that carries the blame for the evil people doing what they do. i say the evil people do it because they are evil. they have to be stopped not shift the blame of their actions to law abiding people. such a tactic empowers the evil and de-powers the good. sure, allowing more guns will increase accidental deaths just like allowing more cars increases car accidents and death in these accidents. but we don't stop driving cars just because someone uses bad judgment when driving. nor should we ban guns just because some use bad judgment and others get hurt. the increase in injuries or deaths from allowing more guns is part and parcel with the package. but look at the alternatives. law abiding citizens w/o guns or self protection and evil people still with guns. they will get them ..bans have never stopped them from getting them. in fact, just the fact they are banned will make them strive to get them even more for they are lawless people. they love to break the law. they live for it. they get a rush from it. you can't legislate away the demand for guns for lawless people. the gov cannot possibly stop these crimes. there isn't enough resources to do it. it has to be done at the grass roots level. and at that level fire has to be fought with fire even if a few houses get burn't in the process that were not targeted to get burn't. it is just the way things work in the real world that has alot of evil people in it. you can't sweet talk them. you can't baby them. you can't legislate them away. you just have to stop them in their tracks.
  15. This is wonderful news. Especially, since it is Ca. Now this is Real Common sense. :applaud::applaud::applaud: Fontana, Calif., schools get high-powered rifles - Yahoo! News
  16. Mm don't you think they should ban golf clubs? Seems like they could be much more dangerous weapons than pink bubble pistols and paper guns, especially in your hands. :ban:
  17. see no common sense. You may be beyond the help of a psychologist :helloooo: i am fine and feel great knowing that people like yourself will be unable to accomplish their agenda in america.
  18. that sounds about right to me. :haha:
  19. trained and armed school personnel will have more common sense than the liberals like yourself who want to disarm everyone but will never be able to accomplish that in america. No one has to hold a 5 year old at gunpoint. That is stupid. These people that expelled this girl labeling her a terrorist threat are liberals that can't use common sense as they either don't have any or lost their way along the path. Bubble gun and pink at that.
  20. probally with a whole lot better common sense.
  21. along with pink water bubble guns lets not forget to extend the ban to paper guns and punish all who go around with paper guns and pink water bubble guns. Fifth-grader reprimanded for bringing paper ?gun? to school | The Lookout - Yahoo! News
  22. Now how in the hell am i gonna defend myself with a locked up gun?
  23. i did not remember agreeing? But i could have and just forgot. Only need three more uncles and the answer shall appear. Ps i still havent figured out your puzzle. I cry uncle too.
  24. hell no it doesn't ruin trading. bring on the hft's.. the more... the better.
  25. remember the only way to "see" the profit target is to get stopped out and admit it publically or guess the riddle at which point you will immediatley become inducted into the puzzler hall of fame for traders. i don't see that happening ...but who knows... records are made to be broken and puzzles are made to be solved. the answer is actually quite rudimentary and elementary. you know i actually started getting a real education when i got done with colleging? what about you guys? :haha:
